Managing a conflict of interest

Information icon Hello, Tedart12. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Draft:Marie Khouri, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Your submission at Articles for creation: Marie Khouri (February 6)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by MightyRanger was:
This submission does not appear to be written in the formal tone expected of an encyclopedia article. Entries should be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources. Please rewrite your submission in a more encyclopedic format. Please make sure to avoid peacock terms that promote the subject.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit it after they have been resolved.

Your submission at Articles for creation: Marie Khouri (February 12)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reasons left by TheTechie were:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
The content of this submission includes material that does not meet Wikipedia's minimum standard for inline citations. Please cite your sources using footnotes. For instructions on how to do this, please see Referencing for beginners. Thank you.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit it after they have been resolved.

AfC notification: Draft:Marie Khouri has a new comment

I've left a comment on your Articles for Creation submission, which can be viewed at Draft:Marie Khouri. Thanks! Hoary (talk) 00:59, 14 February 2026 (UTC)
Thank you for the inquiry.
AramcoWorld is an international cultural magazine with a focus on arts, history and culture of the Arab world. The cited article is a feature profile about the subject in question and contains contextual analysis of the subject’s work. It was written by an independent journalist/correspondent, and provides substantial secondary coverage of the subject (None promotional material)
In addition to the references already provided, I’m happy to provide further independent secondary sources if required.
I will also integrate the sections "Artistic style and themes" and "Critical reception" in my next draft submission as per your recommendation.
Thank you. Tedart12 (talk) 07:04, 16 February 2026 (UTC)

Your submission at Articles for creation: Marie Khouri (February 22)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Pythoncoder was:
Your draft shows signs of having been generated by a large language model, such as ChatGPT. Wikipedia guidelines prohibit the use of LLMs to write articles from scratch. In addition, LLM-generated articles usually have multiple quality issues, to include:
Please address these issues. The best way is usually to read reliable sources and summarize them, instead of using a large language model. See our help page on large language models.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit it after they have been resolved.
