Your submission at Articles for creation: Stephen L. Hurst (January 14)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reasons left by MightyRanger were:
This submission appears to read more like an advertisement than an entry in an encyclopedia. Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed. This is important so that the article can meet Wikipedia's verifiability policy and the notability of the subject can be established. If you still feel that this subject is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, please rewrite your submission to comply with these policies.
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit it after they have been resolved.

Thank you for your review of the review of Stephen L. Hurst. To satisfy the concern over the usage of press releases in the article under consideration, I'd like to make sure what I plan to do will meet the guidelines that Wikipedia is looking for. There are six references that make use of a press release. The first two, 4 and 6 come from a private company. I will eliminate those facts that are supported by those references. However for references 11, 12, 13 and 14 since they were put out by a PUBLIC company, they will be recorded as governmental documents as a part of their filings for public companies and are subject to legal review for their accuracy. If I am able to provide those government documents as references to substantiate the facts claimed in the article would that satisfy Wikipedia's guidelines for an acceptable submission? Thank you. Tenpasten (talk) 23:55, 16 February 2026 (UTC)
governmental documents would not be considered reliable, independent sources they would be primary sources. You removed the submission template when you edited last I have re-added it so that you can re-submit for review. Theroadislong (talk) 20:00, 1 March 2026 (UTC)
Thank you for re-adding the submission template. I was not aware of it. I just tried to resubmit it and will await feedback. Thank you again for your help and guidance. Tenpasten (talk) 20:18, 1 March 2026 (UTC)
Hi Theroadislong,
I'm not sure who to check with, I hope you can provide some guidance as I'm still having a tough time navigating this process.
Based on feedback I received, I resubmitted my article earlier this week, on 2/23/26. Given the intricate manner that articles are reviewed, I wanted to make sure that it is in the cue to be reviewed or if there is something else I need to do or may have missed. Could you let me know? Many thanks. Tenpasten (talk) 19:49, 1 March 2026 (UTC)

Feedback
The reviewer, ThatTrainGuy1945, left the following feedback:
This draft's references do not show that the person meets Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion for people. The draft requires multiple published secondary sources that:
  • provide significant coverage: discuss the person in detail, not brief mentions or interviews lacking independent analysis;
  • are reliable: from reputable outlets with editorial oversight;
  • are independent: not connected to the person, such as interviews, press releases, the subject's own website, or sponsored content.
Please add references that meet all three of these criteria. If none exist, the subject is not yet suitable for Wikipedia.
The source does not appear to b enotable. Also, this draft is a major copyvio from https://stephenlowellhurst.com/#, which appears to be a wikipedia mirror.
