Speedy deletion of Draft:Lawrence Hall (1885)

The page Draft:Lawrence Hall (1885) has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appeared to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appeared to be a direct copy from https://web.archive.org/web/20250209175541/https://www.stcloudstate.edu/library/archives/digital/buildings/profiles.aspx and Old revisions have hidden text copied from the same website. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition has been be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

- I appreciate the note, thank you. It was just a draft and wasn't meant to be published yet. If I did publish it, it was an accident - I thought it was a draft still. I've edited Wikipedia pages before but never created one.
- As for the content, I researched and wrote it as I am the St. Cloud State University archivist (which I identified as in my profile). As a test and a try, I wanted to create a few Wikipedia pages for some of our well-known campus buildings. ToDaSt (talk) 22:18, 17 February 2026 (UTC)
