January–February 2026 Backlog Drive | New pages patrol
New Pages Patrol is hosting a one-time, two-month experimental backlog drive aimed at reducing the backlog. This will be a combo drive: both articles and redirects will earn points. The drive will run from 1 January to 28 February 2026. The drive is divided into two phases. Participants may take part in either phase or across both phases, depending on availability. Barnstars will be awarded based on the number of articles and redirects patrolled during the drive. Two-month drive-exclusive barnstars will be awarded to eligible participants. Each article review earns 1 point, while each redirect review earns 0.2 points. Streak awards will be granted based on consistently meeting weekly point thresholds. Hey! Thanks - already addressed the error, should be GR2. Spending the day editing and updating this as I'm pushing it to GAN. If there's any feedback that stands out to you about the article, I'd really appreciate it, but core focus for me is adding mechanical detail on the gameplay section, filling in missing reviews and simplifying some of the longer paragraphs. Hey, I've noticed lately that you've been creating a lot of articles for games that were either recipients or nominees for the Nuovo Award, and I have a question regarding a specific game that got the award, Tuning.

The work of Söderström—mainly the Hotline Miami games though—is something which I've held interest in since I basically started the site. Though mainly confined to the two HLM games, I've also been interested in improving Söderström's biography (which is weirdly pretty difficult and hence I've been stalling it) and trying to make articles for his other games. Mainly Tuning, which doesn't have an article. I've made multiple source searches in the past for it, but I weirdly enough haven't come back with much (which feels bizarre because Tuning is quite significant to Söderström and even the build-up to Hotline Miami's creation).

Since you've been making a lot of articles for games in this bracket, I'm curious if you've ever checked for sources on this game, and if you have, whether you found enough on your own searches or came back with the same dearth I did? Thanks, and happy to help. Tuning is a bit complicated and has a few issues: it seems lost, sounds like it was a pretty straightforward game, and did the indie circuit before a point it was publicly released. Despite this, it got the Nuovo nomination (where his behaviour in accepting the award was apparently amusing ) and the Sublime Experience award at IndieCade in 2009. But sadly, even thought that is a strong indicia for notability, the coverage is so bare: there's only really ongoing coverage from authors who really wanted to bat for him at Boing Boing/Offworld , interview coverage from RPS , The Escapist , and little scholarship other than a paragraph on it as an example of abusive game design . To my knowledge, Tuning was never in any Cactus Arcade compilation. I think that was largely reserved for his smaller projects that he made for fun, so stuff like the Mondo games. So there's that part answered. And yeah, I think I've seen most of this coverage in my own searches and realized it wasn't enough. Hi Vrxces. I've just discovered the page WP:BILORV which basically lists a bunch of achievements one can do with article creation. One such award is the "Minimalist" which requires an editor to get an article to GA when the page has under 50 revisions. You've already done this with Time Flies and I wouldn't be surprised if you've done this with other articles too.
