Feedback
The reviewer, Meadowlark, left the following feedback:
This draft's references do not show that the subject meets Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion for organizations and companies. The draft requires multiple published secondary sources that:
  • provide significant coverage: discuss the subject in detail, excluding routine coverage like product launches, staff appointments, or financial reports and listings in databases or listicles;
  • are reliable: from reputable outlets with editorial oversight;
  • are independent: not connected to the subject, such as press releases, the subject's own website, or sponsored content.
Please add references that meet all three of these criteria. If none exist, the subject is not yet suitable for Wikipedia.
This draft does not demonstrate that your subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article. Please see WP:42 for more information on what kind of sources you need to present. At least three sources that meet all three criteria in WP:42 are required. In particular, interviews with or sources written by people closely connected to the subject are not considered independent. This company does not appear to meet the criteria set out in WP:NCORP; only routine business activities are described. See WP:CORPTRIV for more information.

The possibility of free use images

I had to remove your non-free image of Hit-Boy because it violates WP:NFC Images #1, meaning that images of people still alive cannot be used. Since you're associated with Surf Club, if you have the possibility of releasing an image of any artist on the label into free use (Creative Commons or Public Domain), be free to do that on Wikimedia Commons. - RTSthestardust (talk) 22:38, 29 April 2026 (UTC)

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your recent edits to Hit-Boy when you modified the page, you introduced unknown parameters. Just because you specify |some_param=some_variable does not always mean that variable will display. The |some_param= must be defined in the template. You can look at the documentation for the template you are using but it is also helpful to use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and ensure that the values you have added are displaying correctly. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it. It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. Note I have likely fixed the error by now so check the history of the page to see how it was fixed. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance. Thank you. Orphaned non-free image File:Hit-Boy producer Chauncey Hollis official press photo 2024.jpeg

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Hit-Boy producer Chauncey Hollis official press photo 2024.jpeg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of non-free use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:26, 2 May 2026 (UTC)

Feedback
The reviewer, Ca, left the following feedback:
This draft appears to contain text generated by a large language model (such as ChatGPT). You cannot use LLMs to generate article content.

LLM-generated pages with certain obvious signs of being machine generated may be deleted without notice.

These tools are prone to specific issues that violate our policies:

  • hallucinations: they often invent false information and cite non-existent references.
  • unencyclopedic tone: they tend to be vague, promotional, or essay-like, rather than neutral and factual.
  • copyright issues: they may closely paraphrase existing text, leading to copyright violations.

Instead, only summarize in your own words a range of independent, reliable, published sources that discuss the subject.

See the advice page on large language models for more information.

LLM use

Please clarify whether you have used AI tools, such as ChatGPT and Grammarly, in the course of your editing. Please note that this is generally not allowed. Fermiboson (talk) 15:40, 15 July 2026 (UTC)

Hey it was a fix to make it better, I will submit a new draft with removing LLM use. Surfclubrecords (talk) 15:53, 15 July 2026 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Your account has been blocked from editing because your username gives the impression that the account represents a group, team, club, organization, company, product, department, or website. Your username is the principal reason for the block. You are welcome to continue editing after you have chosen a new username that complies with Wikipedia's username policy.

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable, regardless of the username that you choose. Additionally, if your contributions to Wikipedia form all or part of work for which you are, or expect to be, paid or compensated in any way, you must disclose who is paying you. You may also read our FAQ for article subjects.

Please take a moment to either create a new account, or request a username change to this account.
  • To create a new account with a different username, simply log out of this account and then make a new one.
  • If you prefer to change the username of this account, you may do so by adding the following text to the bottom of your user talk page (this page): {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.
    • Before requesting your new username, check if it is still available. If the search says "There is no global account for [username]", the username is free to use.

The new username that you choose must represent you as an individual:

  • You are permitted to use a username that contains the name of a company or organization if it also identifies you individually. Examples include: "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87", but not "SEO Manager at XYZ Company".

If your username does not represent a group, organization, department, website, or other entity described above, and if you believe that this block was incorrect or made in error, you may appeal this block by adding the following text to the bottom of your user talk page (this page): {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

Thank you. Alexf(talk) 13:33, 16 July 2026 (UTC)
Hello Alexf, is the username change fine? Surfclubrecords (talk) 20:38, 16 July 2026 (UTC)
Renamer note: The requested username is too similar to an existing username, or is the former username of another user (see Special:CentralAuth). Please pick a different username. rsjaffe 🗣️ 23:58, 16 July 2026 (UTC)

Request reason:

I understand that my current username, Surfclubrecords, appears to represent an organization. WavePilot at SurfClub is my personal pseudonym and identifies me as one individual affiliated with Surf Club. This account will be used only by me and will not be shared. I understand Wikipedia's username and conflict-of-interest policies and will comply with the relevant disclosure requirements. Surfclubrecords (talk) 19:43, 17 July 2026 (UTC)

Accept reason:

Removing block. I might suggest changing your disclosure to be more specific that you are a paid editor. Please stop all AI use, we want humans to do the work here. 331dot (talk) 08:29, 18 July 2026 (UTC)
  • Renamer note: Change your requested name. SurferWave is not available.
  • Since you say you have reviewed our COI editing policy, could you please tell us, in your own words, how you understand it to apply to your editing of articles such as Hit-Boy and Chase N. Cashe, in which you have a COI as a paid editor? --DoubleGrazing (talk) 09:57, 17 July 2026 (UTC)
  • I am part of the Surf Club team and my broader digital and publicity role is compensated, although I am not paid separately for individual Wikipedia edits. I understand that Wikipedia still considers edits about Hit-Boy, Chase N. Cashe, Surf Club, and related subjects to be paid contributions because they are connected to my compensated professional role. I understand that this creates a financial and professional conflict of interest. I will clearly disclose my affiliation and any applicable employer or client relationship. Going forward, I will not directly edit connected articles or restore the reverted material. I will instead submit specific, neutrally written edit requests on the relevant article talk pages, supported by reliable independent sources, and allow uninvolved editors to decide whether changes should be made. I will not use Wikipedia for promotion. Surfclubrecords (talk) 19:43, 17 July 2026 (UTC)
  • Renamer note: Your account has been renamed. — rsjaffe 🗣️ 20:05, 17 July 2026 (UTC)
Thanks. The username has been changed, but I still appear to be blocked from editing. Could an administrator please remove the original username block when they have a chance? WavePilot at SurfClub (talk) 20:23, 17 July 2026 (UTC)
