Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Mars Hill University into Mars Hill Lions. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. If you are the sole author of the prose that was moved, attribution is not required. — Diannaa (talk) 23:38, 9 December 2021 (UTC)

Will do! I apologize for not following this rule up until now. I will do it from now on. — Wmtribe2015 (talk)

Creating categories

Hi, when creating category pages, every such page needs one or more parent categories - but that parent category cannot be the name of the same category, see WP:CREATECAT and WP:CAT#Category tree organization. I have had to fix up a number of your category pages, including two that you created today - Category:2020–21 NCAA Division III men's basketball season and Category:2021–22 NCAA Division III men's basketball season. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 19:33, 12 February 2022 (UTC)

You've done it again, with Category:Lindenwood Lions women's basketball. Please be careful. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 19:19, 24 April 2022 (UTC)

College athletic conference maps

Greetings. I personally want to thank you for your contributions and efforts when it comes to put and create those maps of the current (and sometimes defunct) college athletic conferences within the United States, regardless of any level (either the NJCAA, the USCAA, the NAIA or any of the 3 divisions of the NCAA alike). Keep up the good work. :) jlog3000 (talk) 22:18, 27 February 2023 (UTC)

I agree. S Philbrick(Talk) 15:49, 10 March 2023 (UTC)

Please remember attribution when splitting

Hi there, I noticed that you split Intercity buses in the United States from Intercity bus service but did not provide attribution in the edit history. Please remember to do so in accordance with WP:COPYWITHIN; this is a legal requirement. I see that you have been notified about this before, so please take care going forward.
