It airs a classic rock format and is owned by iHeartMedia, Inc. Core artists include AC/DC, Metallica, Pearl Jam and Van Halen. WQYZ is the Biloxi-Gulfport affiliate for Walton & Johnson, a syndicated morning show from sister station KPRC (AM) in Houston.
