Cho Chang

I added the article (or rather, redirect) "Cho Chang" to Category:Redirects with possibilities, on the grounds that i think there is a decent chance that we will hav a dedicated WP article on her. (See Category:Harry Potter characters and Category:Harry Potter character redirects to lists.) Also, on the redirect "Cho Chang", i removed the DEFAULTSORT to "Chang, Cho"; on the grounds that it is never clear which name (Cho or Chang) is a given name and which is a surname (or ar they both given names?); this is an issue because the Chinese put their surname first. Also

There is a dedicated article "Beauxbatons", but "Durmstrang" is a mere redirect. At that rate, it seems reasonable that there should be a dedicated article "Durmstrang". Hi! Could I join the group this is a talk for? I'm an avid potterhead, and I'm eager to get more edits so I can become an admin. One question. Does my account affect my eligibility for this group? I believe you'll need to create an account if you want to join this WikiProject...but I'd also note that this project appears to be and is classified as being only semi-active, as you can see if you look at the timestamps on the threads above this one. DonIago (talk) 14:53, 23 December 2025 (UTC)

Hogwarts staff merge proposal

Hello!

A proposal was recently approved to merge the Order of the Phoenix page into List of Harry Potter characters, and I just finished performing the merge. I have now made a proposal to merge Hogwarts staff into List of Harry Potter characters in a similar fashion. I would welcome your input!
