Proposed deletion of St. George's Church, Kumanovo

Notice

The article St. George's Church, Kumanovo has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Tagged for notability concerns for almost 12 years. No other language has a reliably sourced article from which to translate. Poorly sourced about a relatively new church without a notable musical program, pilgrimage status, or notable architecture.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion based on established criteria.

If the proposed deletion has already been carried out, you may request undeletion of the article at any time. Bearian (talk) 11:23, 7 June 2026 (UTC)

Hieromonk Alypius, Hierodeacon Alipiy, Alexei Ivanovich Konstantinov

(A single person.) "Draft:Hieromonk Alypius (Alexei Konstantinov)" started as a translation of the ru:Wikipedia FA Алипий (Константинов). Clearly a great deal of work had gone both into the Russian-language original and into its englishing. Today, after having watched it languish as a draft for weeks, I ignored my complete ignorance of icons, the Russian language, Eastern Orthodoxy, etc, and did some tinkering to it and "accepted" the result as "Alypius (icon painter)". Would "Alipiy (icon painter)" or something else be preferable? When (ignorantly) tinkering, did I commit any gaffes? I hope that at least one well-informed editor will read the article in search of solecisms. -- Hoary (talk)WWU 👍︎ 08:35, 15 June 2026 (UTC)
