サマセット・モーム賞

サマセット・モーム賞（サマセット・モームしょう、Somerset Maugham Award）は、イギリスの作家団体 "Society of Authors" が毎年5月に発表する文学賞。授与されるのは、過去に書籍を出版した35歳以下の作家（または作家の団体）。1947年、作家のW・サマセット・モームによって設けられ、彼の名が冠された。各年の活動資金は1万2000ポンドである[1]。1964年から、一度に複数名の受賞者が選ばれることが普通になったが、1975年と2012年は該当者なしに終わった。親子で受賞した例が2度あり、1955年のキングズリー・エイミスと1974年のマーティン・エイミス、1950年のナイジェル・ニール（英語版）と1988年のマシュー・ニール（英語版）である。
