- 13 January – The Public Housing Administration orders a compulsory inspection of 56,000 units at 328 projects across the territory following criticism over subhuman living conditions.[1]
February
- 1 February – 68th Annual Grammy Awards: Bad Bunny's Debí Tirar Más Fotos album becomes the first Spanish-language album to win Album of the Year at the 2026 Grammy Awards.[2]
