Aviz (Persian: اويز)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Aviz Rural District[4] of the Central District of Farashband County, Fars province, Iran.
Population
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,454 in 307 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,386 people in 376 households.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 1,389 people in 403 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
