Comment: There is nothing here more than telling the world what the company does. This is WP:ROTM business activities in an emerging field, but there is nothing notable bout the org nor its activities.I think this has reached the end of the road. 🇵🇸🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦🇵🇸 09:32, 5 February 2026 (UTC)
Comment: Added Ludvig Åberg sponsorship (world #19) with Sports Business Journal source. Also added SBJ to notable sources list on Talk page. Neilyoung77 (talk) 15:15, 2 February 2026 (UTC)
Comment: The coverage of this firm in reliable sources are quite shallow. Needs sources that go beyond surfacelevel descriptions. Ca talk to me! 01:04, 10 December 2025 (UTC)
Comment: Addressed the previous reviewer's concerns regarding AI - I've rewritten the "History" section to avoid repetitive, bullet-point style and made a number of other edits to remove unnecessary detail. Also renamed "Features" to "Platform" to ensure neutral encyclopaedic tone. Thanks for the review Neilyoung77 (talk) 10:42, 9 December 2025 (UTC)

History
Legora was founded in Stockholm in 2023 by Max Junestrand (CEO), Sigge Labor (CTO) and August Erséus (CPO).[5] The company participated in Y Combinator's Winter 2024 accelerator batch under the name Leya.[6]
After raising a $25 million Series A in July 2024 and an $80 million Series B in May 2025, Legora achieved unicorn status in October 2025. This Series C round, led by Bessemer Venture Partners, raised $150 million and valued the company at $1.8 billion.[7][8][4]
Alongside its fundraising, Legora expanded internationally, appointing Amit Kothiyal as Head of India and establishing a permanent US headquarters in Union Square, Manhattan to support its American client base.[9][10] As of December 2025, the company maintained offices in locations including Stockholm, London, New York, and Sydney.[11]
Platform
Legora's platform uses large language models to automate legal workflows, including contract analysis, legal research, document drafting, and due diligence review.[12] The platform integrates with law firms' document repositories to enable analysis and collaboration across large document sets.[13][14]
Applications
The platform is used by international law firms such as Cleary Gottlieb, Goodwin Procter, Linklaters, MinterEllison and Bird & Bird.[4][8] In India, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas deployed the platform following a partnership announced in mid-2025.[9]
Sponsorship
In February 2026, Legora signed Swedish golfer Ludvig Åberg to a multiyear sponsorship deal. Legora's logo appears on Åberg's left sleeve.[15]
Reception
Media coverage has identified Legora as a significant European competitor in the legal AI market.[1] [16] Business Insider compared the company's market position to that of Harvey, an OpenAI-backed US competitor.[2] The Financial Times also noted Legora's role in the emerging sector of agentic AI.[17]
In December 2025, CEO Max Junestrand was listed in Forbes 30 Under 30 AI list.[18]
Industry analysts have raised questions about market adoption and whether law firms plan to charge clients for access to platform features.[2]
