People can be born in the Philippines, have Philippine ancestry and/or be citizens of the Philippines. As of 2025[update], there were 19,418 people born in the Philippines living in Finland. Similarly, the number of people with Philippine citizenship was 17,663. The number of people who spoke Tagalog or Filipino as their mother tongue was 13,380.[1]
