Libercourt (French pronunciation: [libɛʁkuʁ]) is a commune in the Pas-de-Calais department in the Hauts-de-France region of France[3] about 12 miles (19 km) northeast of Lens.

Flowered structures in front of Notre Dame church. Every year, Libercourt takes part in the “competition of towns and villages in bloom” and has reached a high level of "3 flowers".

Libercourt was once an integral part of the neighbouring town of Carvin. It became an independent commune in 1947.[4]
