N. Chandrasekharan Nair

N. Chandrasekharan Nair is a noted Hindi scholar.[1] He founded Kerala Hindi Sahitya Academy[2] and was former Head of the Department of Hindi at Mahatma Gandhi College, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.[3] He received the Ministry of Human Resource Development’s award for Hindi writers in non-Hindi speaking areas for 2004-05[3] and the 2008 Maharashtra Hindi Sahitya Academy award.[4] He has campaigned to have Hindi declared India's official language.[1]

He is the recipient of India's highly prestigious award Padma Shri 2020 for his work in the field of literature and education.[5][6]
