Saint-Fraimbault (French pronunciation: [sɛ̃ fʁɛ̃bo] ⓘ, before 1962: Saint-Fraimbault-sur-Pisse)[3] is a commune in the Orne department in north-western France.[4] The town is named after the 6th-century AD Saint Fraimbault de Lassay (also known as Fraimbaud, Fraimbourg, Frambaud, Frambourg, Frambour, Frambaldus, etc.).
Climate
The commune is made up of the following collection of villages and hamlets, Mémantel, Les Crivannières, Le Grand Bois, La Poulardière, La Besnardais, Saint-Fraimbault and L'Orière.[5]
The river Varenne flows through the commune.[6]
The commune is in the Normandie-Maine Regional Natural Park.[7]
Saint-Fraimbault benefits from an oceanic climate with mild winters and temperate summers.[8]
