Remove File:2026 Venezuela strikes map.png from the "Strikes" section as unverified and original research. Sources in that section (including this one say seven strikes. Map shows 10. ~2026-21093-96 (talk) 00:08, 6 April 2026 (UTC)

"US expansionism"

@Shawtybaespade: American expansionism under Donald Trump deals with proposed territorial enlargement. Unless someone can prove that the US intervened in Venezuela for the sake of annexing all or part of it, we should remove this batshit claim and stop wasting time on nonsense like this. Mikrobølgeovn (talk) 09:02, 2 May 2026 (UTC)

I see what you mean. The very definition of "expansionism" seems to exclusively mean land gain, which isn't part of Trumps plan like with Greenland. Shawtybaespade (talk) 20:13, 2 May 2026 (UTC)
@Shawtybaespade: I apologize for not initially assuming good faith. I am by no means a supporter of Trump myself, but I dislike it when people attempt to push a particular narrative on Wikipedia. The "Part of" and "See also" sections of articles are frequently used to that end, and to move goal posts. (I don't at all object to its placement in the Greenland crisis article, by the way.) American Airlines flight

Hey guys,

I was thinking about adding the news about American Airlines resuming flights to Venezuela for the first time since 2019. Possibly under "renewal of diplomatic relations." Does that news belong on this page or not? Bappo67 (talk) 22:17, 2 May 2026 (UTC)

This detail was already mentioned in Oil deals, privatization reform, mining and ease of sanctions. I will move it to the renewal section though. Shawtybaespade (talk) 05:19, 3 May 2026 (UTC)
Ok thank you. I guess I was not looking in the right spot Bappo67 (talk) 15:54, 3 May 2026 (UTC)
