Merging articles
There is a clear difference between The 7.30 Report and 7.30 so they should be kept separate. J Bar (talk) 04:36, 6 October 2016 (UTC)
- Is this really the case? The show is seen as an extension of 730 report. Surely they should be combined? 115.69.5.5 (talk) 01:36, 8 November 2024 (UTC)
- The show itself says it's the same program: https://x.com/jc_cummins/status/2018524731193045364 ~2026-73989-7 (talk) 06:52, 3 February 2026 (UTC)
- Considering that 7.30 is just a continuation of the former 7.30 Report, just under a different brand name, I think a merge is very appropriate. I have added the tag that was formerly on this page to propose a merge. I like the idea of a merge because it means that you don't have to unnecessarily navigate between two articles to get all of the information Wikipedia has on the program's history on these two very similar programs.
- There has not been thorough discussion on the previous proposal's discussion because the participants were not explaining how these programs are substantially different. Qwerty123M (talk) 07:22, 3 February 2026 (UTC)

Restructure
The (former) regional, Friday editions of 7.30 is essentially the renamed Statewide that was folded into the 7.30 brand. Likewise, the current (national) 7.30 is The 7.30 Report had its name changed. So, I think the Stateline (TV program) article should be moved to either Regional editions of 7.30 or State and territorial editions of 7.30 and get the portions merged from the 7.30 article, and then The 7.30 Report article be merged into 7.30. - I agree there's similarities between all these formats, but I think they should be kept seperate (at least for now). All have unique profiles. ABC has recently announced a Stan Grant-fronted program will replace the Friday episodes of 7.30 from next year anyway. The 7.30 Report has a seperate profile and format to 7.30 so I don't see why they need to be merged. -- Whats new?(talk) 01:41, 31 October 2016 (UTC)
Updated image
Since the beginning of 2025, 7.30 has been using a new logo. I don't know where to get the clearest view available of the logo. I think it may be available for use under WP:NFCCP. Qwerty123M (talk) 11:11, 9 March 2025 (UTC)
