Air India 171

Should we add air India 171 to the list of Boeing safety incidents given the aircraft involved is a 787? 149.22.219.132 (talk) 18:50, 12 June 2025 (UTC)

What? The cause of the crash is unknown now and you're trying to speculate here. See Boeing 787 Dreamliner or the accident article maybe, instead. -Fnlayson (talk) 19:46, 12 June 2025 (UTC)
We should let the investors do their job instead of speculating about it here. - ZLEA T\C 20:54, 12 June 2025 (UTC)

Boeing Merger Date

The wiki shows August 4th, but the Boeing MediaRoom shows effective August 1st, 1997 https://boeing.mediaroom.com/1997-07-31-Boeing-Completes-McDonnell-Douglas-Merger https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/12927/000095015797000394/0000950157-97-000394.txt ~2025-34695-01 (talk) 02:01, 19 November 2025 (UTC)

Suggesting adding incident names to some images.

In the images where the aircraft involved are shown, add the incident names; E.G, PK-LQP, the aircraft involved in the Lion Air Flight 610 crash, etc. Wreckedaviation (talk) 17:32, 19 February 2026 (UTC)

Already done - There's already an adequate description of the image of Lion Air Flight 610. Hacked (Talk|Contribs) 17:46, 19 February 2026 (UTC)

Add missing space after the end of the first sentence in "Controversy" subsection (inside "Political contributions, federal contracts, advocacy and criticism"). ~2026-14266-06 (talk) 00:08, 6 March 2026 (UTC)

'Potential replacement for the 737 MAX'

Does that really belong in the section it's in? I feel like it should be in the Boeing Commercial Airplanes article, because an aircraft to supercede the 737 MAX doesn't really have anything to do with safety problems. Sneakysasquatchfan (talk) 00:09, 12 March 2026 (UTC)

Good point. The BCA article is the fit for 737 replacement info. -Fnlayson (talk) 13:07, 12 March 2026 (UTC)
