Participation map

The current participation map is wildly inaccurate. It lists Myanmar as competing, although they have not confirmed according to the list of debuting nations. It also does not have Malaysia colored in, and South Korea is completely left out. I would suggest to either update it or remove it until further notice. StudiedPort5 (talk) 00:30, 31 March 2026 (UTC)

has it been fixed yet? I've noticed S korea has been colored in ~2026-20824-59 (talk) 18:38, 5 April 2026 (UTC)
The map is correct as far as I can see MSalmon (talk) 18:45, 7 April 2026 (UTC)

Stand-alone article for this year or for the contest itself?

Hey guys, now that the contest has been confirmed, I have a question. Will this article be exclusively for the 2026 edition, and another page for the concept itself (like main ESC and JESC) will be created in the near future? Or is it going to be combined (like American Song Contest) provisionally until we have a second edition and both articles can be separated? ~2026-14141-91 (talk) 08:23, 31 March 2026 (UTC)

I would say keep it in this one until a second edition is confirmed and then do separate articles, given that if we do separate now they would be almost the same. IsaacMDB23 (talk) 08:39, 31 March 2026 (UTC)
I think any sort of separation should occur once we have sufficient concrete details about a second edition.  Andreyyshore 🆃︎ 🅲︎  10:18, 31 March 2026 (UTC)
I think this should be done once more information comes out. It would be much more appropriate to do that if a second edition is confirmed. - 🥨 Pretztea 13:21, 31 March 2026 (UTC)

South Korea NF

South Korean nf will be happening September 4th and am the source is on ESC Noah - Stan Luktelk YouTube channel ~2026-19927-71 (talk) 13:16, 31 March 2026 (UTC)

Is there an official source yet? A non-affiliated YouTube channel is not a sufficient reference/source. Wikicringe (talk) 21:05, 13 April 2026 (UTC)

Feedback from New Page Review process

I left the following feedback for the creator/future reviewers while reviewing this article: Passed WP:GNG. However, I think the logo is under public domain under PD-textlogo and should move on Commons.

More countries

didnt Japan, India, Taiwan and Singapore also confirm? ~2026-22416-33 (talk) 18:55, 11 April 2026 (UTC)

If you can send me a reliable source and not a rumor, then great I'll add them. Hariboneagle927 (talk) 07:17, 12 April 2026 (UTC)
No official confirmation yet. The news came from fans uncovering traces of India, Taiwan and Singapore in the website's assets. No news on Japan. Astro.nick20 (talk) 03:19, 13 April 2026 (UTC)
Oh yes, I was confused on why an anonymous user, who may or may be the same as above mentioned the website as source in the edit summaries when I cannot see those aformention countries' represented in the hearts on the page.Hariboneagle927 (talk) 08:54, 13 April 2026 (UTC)
The Instagram account (@eurovisionasia.tv) is saying that India has confirmed participation in the 2026 contest, but India still doesn't appear on the Eurovision Asia website nor the Eurovision Asia page on eurovision.com. There wasn't a broadcaster confirmed on the post either. Should India be mentioned in the "other countries" section to clarify? Rquinn19 (talk) 15:54, 13 April 2026 (UTC)
The Instagram account appears to be unofficial. Could be a fan pretending to be an official channel by purchasing a blue tick. Astro.nick20 (talk) 01:33, 14 April 2026 (UTC)
@Astro.nick20 thats the minus of off season... Vesparaw07 (talk) 04:40, 14 April 2026 (UTC)
anyway, how did they have a video showcasing videos from each of the 10 initially confirmed countries. Vesparaw07 (talk) 04:54, 14 April 2026 (UTC)
even the official Eurovision Song Contest also has a blue tick... Vesparaw07 (talk) 04:57, 14 April 2026 (UTC)
The @eurovisionasia.tv account seems to have been taken down, so it was more than likely not managed by the EBU Rquinn19 (talk) 11:54, 14 April 2026 (UTC)
