Recent vandalism

New here, so let me know if I should go about this in a different way. It seems the first paragraph has been vandalized. I'm not sure how else to show when this was changed, so I'll copy-paste what I see in the history browser:

The text for the initial "Rock Music" link was changed to "Jazz" (though the link itself is intact); "Rodeo, California" has been changed to "New Orleans, Louisiana"; "1987" to "1957"; "California punk bands" to "Louisiana; "punk rock" to "jazz music."

After this, the same user fixed typos. H. Caspia (talk) 08:49, 17 February 2025 (UTC)

Thanks for commenting - the vandalism has now been removed. Entranced98 (talk) 08:52, 17 February 2025 (UTC)

Raj Punjabi and band origins ?

In the first paragraph under ‘History’ none of the cited sources mention Raj Punjabi or the name "Blood Rage" at all. Also neither the source cited for their first performance (the Pure Volume article) or the following citation (Omnibus press) mention Punjabi either, and both seem to indicate that Kiffmeyer had already joined as drummer in 1987 for their first performance.

The citation for Punjabi in the ‘Members’ section, Green Day: a Musical Biography, does mention him, but as far as I can tell it’s only once, describing him as "occasionally stopping by to play drums". The same book also describes the guys practicing in Armstrong’s mother’s living room, not in "Punjabi's father's house garage" as the article says. So I’m not sure where all of the stuff related to Punjabi has come from, but nothing I could find seems to indicate that he is generally considered to be a founding member. If that info does exist in another source somewhere else in this article, then it should also be included in a footnote for these statements as well. If not, idk if his name needs to be omitted from the article entirely, but clearly some corrections need to take place. Same goes for the name "Blood Rage", that is currently completely unsourced.

Also here is a link to a googlebooks version of Green Day: a Musical Biography that can be previewed, unlike the one in the reference. Again, this was the only cited source I could find that ACTUALLY mentions Raj. Let me know what you think. Gravelove (talk) 22:47, 22 June 2025 (UTC)

Jason Freese Absence Again

It looks like Jason Freese is absent again, but it's not Coley O'Toole filling-in for him. Does anyone have any info on what is going on with Jason, or who these two fill-in guys are?
