Comment: Driveby nom. I went back and forth deciding whether to GA Kim Petras or Vivian Wilson as part of last month's Trans Day of Visibility set, I think I made the right choice. (Might do that for Trans Day of Remembrance in November.)

Overall: This was something I actually did know, as one of my friends likes the group. Article looks good and hook is interesting. Should be good to go. BeanieFan11 (talk) 22:02, 18 April 2026 (UTC)
The fact that Wilson is Musk's daughter is not mentioned or cited in the article.—Chris Woodrich (talk) 02:26, 9 May 2026 (UTC)
Added. Not sure what happened there.--Launchballer 02:33, 9 May 2026 (UTC)
Thank you. Reinstating the tick.—Chris Woodrich (talk) 02:55, 9 May 2026 (UTC)
@Orangesclub: Of the two sources Wilson's contribution is cited to, Musk is mentioned in both and only Them describes her as a model. I can live with Wilson being described as a model, but I still think Musk should be mentioned.--Launchballer 12:22, 11 May 2026 (UTC)
My issue with this is that it just becomes so repetitive. She has already been featured in a DYK about her father. She was in this music video, we need to make it about her father. Whatever she does next, will also be about her father. I understand that that is what media coverage is often like but I feel it's excessive for us to follow suit. To me, it'd be like referring to Mark Zuckerberg only in relation to founding Facebook however many years ago - yes, that is what he's best known for, but after a while the bluetext of his wikilink does the heavy lifting for anyone who wants to know his background. orangesclub🍊 05:10, 12 May 2026 (UTC)
Wilson has never been featured in a successful DYK with or without her father; an attempt last year was quickfailed. She's also nowhere near as well known as Zuckerberg. I wouldn't expect readers to know the name alone. And given that both sources describe her as his daughter, that indicates that the information is due for the article.--Launchballer 07:43, 12 May 2026 (UTC)
Zuckerberg was just an example. It would maybe be suited if this was her song, it isn't. It's just a song where she's in the music video for less than 10 seconds in a capacity that has nothing to do with her father, nor the fathers of anyone else in the video. If anyone is curious why she is bluelinked, they can click on it and find out more. Either way, my positioning on this isn't everything, I will leave this here. orangesclub🍊 11:54, 12 May 2026 (UTC)
I already stated above that unbolded links divert views, and "I wouldn't expect readers to know the name alone" was referring to Wilson. I'll let someone else adjudicate.--Launchballer 12:16, 12 May 2026 (UTC)
@BeanieFan11 and Crisco 1492: As the fact that Wilson is Musk's daughter has now been removed again by a different user, ALT1: ... that the music video for an April 2026 single by five members of Katseye features multiple trans women? (it's the same hook as before minus the last few words, so it just needs reiterating).--Launchballer 23:28, 12 May 2026 (UTC)
I think that would work as well. Waiting to see what Crisco thinks. BeanieFan11 (talk) 23:51, 12 May 2026 (UTC)
(ec) Signing off on ALT1 only. ALT0 is not stable in the article, so we can't use it.—Chris Woodrich (talk) 23:52, 12 May 2026 (UTC)
Assuming Wilson being the daughter of Elon Musk is able to remain stable in the article, it should be fine.—Chris Woodrich (talk) 10:45, 20 May 2026 (UTC)
Fine by me.--Launchballer 00:12, 21 May 2026 (UTC)
To address Orangesclub's concern about Wilson appearing only briefly in the video, how does the following reword sound then? I changed "features" to "appeared in" since "features" implies her having a longer appearance than what it actually was.
ALT2a ... that Elon Musk's daughter appeared in the music video for "Pinky Up"?
Same as above. If it remains in the article, no issue.—Chris Woodrich (talk) 10:43, 21 May 2026 (UTC)
I'm a tad fuzzy around the edges re: procedure here—does this need another Y from an "impartial" reviewer? If so, I'm more than happy to oblige. Cheers, Cl3phact0 (talk) 11:00, 21 May 2026 (UTC)
Adding the tick in the interest of moving this forward; I think I'm allowed to approve ALT2a since it doesn't introduce any new hook facts and is just a trimming of the already originally approved ALT1. Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 13:07, 21 May 2026 (UTC)

Maybe if someone could put the music video in, the article would get something new and fresh…? ~2026-28097-33 (talk) 20:15, 9 May 2026 (UTC)
