In the last paragraph of the History section, it states that due to the "ongoing" semiconductor shortage, the PS4 was continuing production. The shortage ended a year ago and the PS4 has subsequently stopped production, as Sony has stopped reporting sales figures as early as Q1 of 2022: https://www.sony.com/en/SonyInfo/IR/library/presen/er/pdf/22q1_supplement.pdf

Reference for PS4 still being produced in 2025 is an article from 2022

The telegrafi article used as a source for stating that the PS4 is still being produced is from early 2022, and has no additional edits with more recent info. Even the archived version says the article is from 3 years ago. Jorge López Fernández (talk) 23:00, 17 October 2025 (UTC)

Well, I don't know for sure, but it was probably added back in 2022, and editors simply kept tinkering with the year as time goes by. We can switch it back to "as of 2022" but we would need a new source to suggest it was out of production. Sergecross73 msg me 00:28, 18 October 2025 (UTC)

Remove 2nd duplicate Usb 3.1 in The two USB ports on the front have been updated to the newer USB 3.1 standard and have a larger gap between them, and the optical audio port was removed. This model also features support for USB 3.1, Bluetooth 4.0 and 5.0 GHz Wi-Fi.
