What About the Contrast Between The Hebrew & Christian Representations?
Shouldn't there be at least a section in this article devoted to Elaine Pagels' distinction of the Hebrew Satan and the Christian view of Satan or the Devil, as she devotes an entire book to historical research of these 2 very different entities? The two representations are not interchangeable, and clearly there is not enough distinction made in this article. Although, Elaine Pagels is listed in the Bibliography, there's no mention of her or discussion of any her arguments at all in the referenced portions of this article. This really needs to be included, or this is simply another incomplete Wikipedia history article. Stevenmitchell (talk) 14:29, 4 August 2026 (UTC)
