Prose
This article seems like a list of results for championships. This should really have more prose (And sourcing) for it to be suitable. Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 09:52, 19 April 2018 (UTC)
This article needs to be overhauled heavily.
The current state of this article is not very good. I'm not really arguing against the existence of an article /about/ Super Smash Con, as since its inception it has occurred consistently every year and has a pretty decently sized attendee number each time, but I feel like the con itself should be described more, and not the championships from only one year. Either the championship list needs to be removed (as this information is just as easily found on the Smash Wiki), or the list of winners and events needs to be kept up to date to the respective current year. Either way, events other than these tournaments happen at SSC and those should also be reflected in more detail. NightmareSnake (talk) 12:22, 17 August 2018 (UTC)
Move to new name?
The tournament hasn't been called Super Smash Con since 2023. I'm just not sure if it should be something like Supernova (Convention), or Supernova (Video Game Tournament). I've been every year since 2023, and let me tell you. If you don't have friends to hang out with, you better *really* like playing smash bros. Super Smash Con → Supernova (tournament) – Event is no longer called Super Smash Con as of 2024. Both lede and infobox already reflects this name change, saying it's "formerly known as Super Smash Con". Logo will have to be updated as well, likely uploaded under WP:NFC as I believe it's copyrighted. SmittenGalaxy | talk! 15:25, 14 March 2026 (UTC) — Relisting. - Are you talking about how the webpage still has the copyright as "Super Smash Con LLC"? I'm pretty sure that's just the name of the entity behind the event. The event itself is called Supernova. SmittenGalaxy | talk! 01:59, 19 March 2026 (UTC)
