The result of the move request was: no consensus. Noting that I've also reviewed the argument by the requester, and the commentary from other editors when this was logged as a technical request, and the possible ambiguity around the sources provided. I'm not inclined to relist this discussion again, I would recommend a future requested move has a more detailed rationale to allow other contributors to weigh in and provide input. Syria TV → Syria (TV channel) – Based on its Arabic origin and the text of this article, its correct name should be Syria rather than "Syria TV", the latter being a Turkish-based television station whose stance was opposed during the Ba'athist regime.   The use of italics in media outlet names is a Wikipedia convention and does not imply that the media outlet itself uses italics, just like the headlines of media outlets such as The New York Times. Manilano12 (talk) 01:37, 21 February 2026 (UTC)
