Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. –Skywatcher68 (talk) 15:45, 10 September 2025 (UTC)
- The Manual of Style says "The summary should not exceed this range unless the film's structure is unconventional, such as with non-linear storylines, or unless the plot is too complicated to summarize in this range." The Final Reckoning has an extremely complicated plot and therefore deserves a longer plot summary.
- Additionally, the previous plot summary was incomprehensible and incorrect. Instead of reverting my high-effort, good-faith, and accurate edit, you could easily have simply cut 250 words from it. My edit, unedited, is under 1,000 words, less than 300 over the range in the MoS, and the MoS literally states that if the plot is too complex to summarize accurately in 700 words, it can exceed it. I have submitted a 781 word version of my previous plot summary and am happy to discuss this matter further on the MI:TFR talk page. Agrievedaughter (talk) 05:12, 12 September 2025 (UTC)
