Začarani krug (song)

Dear editor,

I saw you declined my submission of the song. Please note that Croatian music is something that is still in the process of flourishing so it is difficult to apply these WP songs rules to something that might seem "less notable" but is nevertheless a song that can be written about. Could you please reconsider your option and give the song more time to grow? As in, with time, it might become more significant if more journalists decide to write about it? I mean, even as it is, it has 9 sources already. Zagrebite (talk) 17:33, 29 December 2025 (UTC)

@Zagrebite: Hi. The relevant guideline here is WP:NSONG, which states that a song is notable if it has received significant coverage in multiple, independent, reliable sources. Please note that Wikipedia is a lagging indicator of notability, so Wikipedia articles can only be written about subjects that have already been noticed by sources, which unfortunately creates a systematic bias, as subjects that are underrepresented in reliable sources cannot have Wikipedia articles. Simply having multiple sources is not in and of itself enough to demonstrate notability; sources 1 and 3 of your draft are not independent of the artist, and the chart sources are not in-depth. If reliable sources do appear in the future, then you are welcome by all means to resubmit the draft with those, but until then, the best thing you can do is include relevant things in other, existing articles, e.g. the artist's. Thank you for your work, and if you have any question, feel free to let me know. Kovcszaln6 (talk) 18:03, 29 December 2025 (UTC)

Regarding my article "Niklas George"

Hello editor! Can you suggest if BBC and Wales.com is a secondary source, suitable to add to the article? Thank you! Sarahweh (talk) 09:41, 31 January 2026 (UTC)

@Sarahweh: The BBC source is fine, the Wales.com one is not independent, as it was written by the subject. Try to find sources that discuss him and are independent from him, i.e. someone else wrote it about him. Kovcszaln6 (talk) 09:54, 31 January 2026 (UTC)
Ah that makes sense! Thank you for your assistance. I appreciate it so much. Sarahweh (talk) 10:44, 31 January 2026 (UTC)
@Sarahweh: Make sure the cited sources are also in-depth. Mentions like "X said ..." are not independent and probably not in-depth. Kovcszaln6 (talk) 10:21, 31 January 2026 (UTC)

Emö Simonyi

thank you for reviewing and correcting my article on Emö Simonyi. 1. What would you recommend changing or adding to the "life and education" section ? 2. Why is the source [5]Pentiment unreliable ? Best regards Karlo 2026 (talk) 11:58, 26 March 2026 (UTC)

@Karlo 2026: 1. The most important would be to convert into into prose, i.e. full sentences. Also, make sure that everything can be verified through cited reliable sources. 2. Per Wikipedia:Don't cite Wikipedia on Wikipedia, Wikipedia is not a reliable source, as it is user generated. Kovcszaln6 (talk) 18:01, 26 March 2026 (UTC)
Thank you for your recommendations for my "Emö Simonyi" article. I modified and enlarged the "Life and education" section, removed the unreliable source and added two new sources and a picture.
Best regards Karlo 2026 (talk) 11:40, 27 March 2026 (UTC)

re:March 2026

Hello! I'm replying to the message you left on my talk page.

I thought i did leave a citation, no? Unless you're talking about the site itself not being reliable, in which case it's understandable. (Although it is because it's run by someone in the Discord server and based on community submissions, but I'm not exactly sure how to prove it.) Modahabbab (talk) 18:32, 29 March 2026 (UTC)

@Modahabbab: As I stated in my edit summary, the source you cited is not reliable, regardless of which Discord server member runs it. Kovcszaln6 (talk) 16:32, 30 March 2026 (UTC)

2026 Hungarian parliamentary election

Hi! Could you perhaps supplement the campaign section with the revealing interviews published in recent weeks? I am thinking here, for example, of the Constitutional Protection Office case (Bence Szabó), or even the wrongdoings of the Göd battery factory. Unfortunately, I will not have time for this until the elections. In any case, I will supplement the article with these at the latest afterwards. Norden1990 (talk) 09:37, 10 April 2026 (UTC)

To be honest, it's difficult for me to keep track of all the scandals going on right now, but I'll try my best to write about them or at least mention them. Kovcszaln6 (talk) 09:47, 10 April 2026 (UTC)
Thanks again for the edit. I'm just starting to get back to my daily routine. One more thing came to mind: the interception of the Ukrainian "gold convoy" (omg) should also be mentioned, because it also generated serious international repercussions, which fortunately has been put into parentheses by later developments. --Norden1990 (talk) 06:43, 16 April 2026 (UTC)
Thanks. I wrote a bit about it, and I'd appreciate it if you could read through it and expand it with anything missing. Kovcszaln6 (talk) 15:37, 17 April 2026 (UTC)
I think it's perfectly fine, thank you very much. --Norden1990 (talk) 10:30, 18 April 2026 (UTC)

A question for you

Hello, Kovcszaln6! May I ask why you seem to always take the opposite position of myself by default? Have I offended you in any way? Just genuinely curious! Regards, Justthefacts (talk) 20:28, 20 April 2026 (UTC)

I would like to ensure that some of the articles in my area of interest comply with our policies and guidelines. I believe that my edits and comments were in line with the relevant policies, and I was usually backed by fellow editors in these disagreements. Also, for what it's worth, you still haven't responded to this comment of mine, even though I specifically linked to it in my reminder. I nonetheless respect your work, and I would like to reassure you that I have no ill intention against you personally. Kovcszaln6 (talk) 16:01, 21 April 2026 (UTC)
I'm happy to hear that our respect is mutual. As for the comment, I thought I addressed it in my response to the latter comment that you linked and another previous comment that you responded to, regarding the advocate general, the secretary-general, and the political parties. The court has issued its final judgement in the case and for the very first time ever in the history of the European Union, found that a law enacted by a member state violates "the very identity of the Union" as found in the core values listed in Article 2 of the Treaty on European Union, which has never occurred before in European Union history. Would you reconsider your support to move the title to a relatively obscure one, now that the significance of the case is clear? Regards, --Justthefacts (talk) 00:45, 22 April 2026 (UTC)
No, thank you. I think Mathguy2718 has summarized the supporting arguments well in the move discussion. Kovcszaln6 (talk) 16:15, 22 April 2026 (UTC)

Illés Erszébet

Dear EditorKovcszaln6 (@Kovcszaln6: I saw you declined my submission of Illés Erszébet. Apparently you speak Hungarian so I am not really sure why you claim that my sources are not reliable. I reviewed the sources and they all are reliable. If you say Origo is not a reliable source, I have to say that Origo at that time was the most reliable online current affairs portal and that today it is a propaganda would not discredit previous articles. You also discredit the work of the editors of Hungarian wikipedia. If they accepted these as reliable sources why you think you know it better, how come you discredit them. You hide your criticism behind generic problems and you did not mention any concrete problems. I think this is very problematic. Hargitai Henrik  Preceding unsigned comment added by Hargitaihi (talkcontribs) 07:04, 24 April 2026 (UTC)

@Hargitaihi: Please see my response on your talk page. The reason I chose that decline reason was the lack of sources. It is a bit misleading this way, but this is why I added an extra note pointing out my recommendations. Furthermore, I would appreciate it if you assume good faith from me and avoid incivil personal attacks. Thank you. Kovcszaln6 (talk) 17:52, 24 April 2026 (UTC)

Ankit Baiyanpuria article feedback

Hello, and thank you for previously reviewing/moving Ankit Baiyanpuria. If you have time at some point, I’d appreciate any feedback on the article itself-especially if there are sourcing, neutrality or formatting issues that should be improved. No urgency at all; I’d be just grateful for any editorial suggestions when convenient. Thank you. LegacyWiki (talk) 21:46, 7 July 2026 (UTC)
