Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your recent edits to Peter Smith (journalist) when you modified the page, you introduced unknown parameters. Just because you specify |some_param=some_variable does not always mean that variable will display. The |some_param= must be defined in the template. You can look at the documentation for the template you are using but it is also helpful to use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and ensure that the values you have added are displaying correctly. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it. It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. Note I have likely fixed the error by now so check the history of the page to see how it was fixed. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance.
Thank you. Zackmann (Talk to me/What I been doing) 05:22, 4 March 2026 (UTC)
Hello, I'm SpragueThomson. An edit that you recently made seemed to be generated using a large language model (an "AI chatbot" or other application using such technology). Text produced by these applications is usually unsuitable for an encyclopedia, and may contain factually inaccurate statements, fictitious citations, or other problems. You should instead read reliable sources and then summarize those in your own words. Your edit may have been reverted. If you want to practice editing, please use your sandbox. If you think a mistake was made, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. SpragueThomsontalk 15:39, 22 March 2026 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Peter Smith (journalist)

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Peter Smith (journalist), requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. (See section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
- It appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), individual animal, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. (See section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. - I'm the admin who examined this article for speedy delete. I declined the request b/c there are indications of significance due to the reporter being a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize in Local Reporting. That said, other editors may still bring the article up for WP:AFD if they desire. SouthernNights (talk) 17:20, 4 March 2026 (UTC)

Hi ChristinePgh. Thank you for your work on Stephanie Strasburg. Another editor, Mariamnei, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:
Thank you for your work on this article. Unfortunately, it is not yet ready for main space. Please add sources and footnotes to back up each claim with a reliable source. Please also establish notability as per WP:BIO. Furthermore, I'm concerned there may be LLM content here; please remove any such content. I will be moving it to draft. Please feel free to republish once it meets the above criteria. Thanks and have a great day!

Hello, ChristinePgh. I'm impressed by all your hard work making Dóra Maurer so much more readable! However, I'm perplexed and perturbed that you removed the URLs from all the source citations. Can you please explain?: Did you do this on purpose? Best regards -- Monkeysoap (talk) 17:38, 7 March 2026 (UTC)
