I'm sorry to say this, but I don't think you understand English well enough to be contributing here. Your most recent additions to Kingdom of Kush contained many errors. You cannot ask other editors to do so much cleanup work on your contributions. I will attach a message below with helpful links to Wikipedias in other languages.

Please do not continue to add errors to Wikipedia. I will treat it as vandalism going forward. Jessicapierce (talk) 03:15, 19 January 2026 (UTC)

Could you at least point out my errors ? Jedorton33 (talk) 03:41, 19 January 2026 (UTC)
Here are some of the problems with your most recent addition to Kingdom of Kush, which you can see here.
  • The caption "Fortification at Doukki Gel part of the Classical Kerma culture Circa 1800-1700 BC", which you have added to numerous articles, is missing one, perhaps two commas, in order for it to make sense. "Circa" should not be capitalized. The significance of the image is also unclear.
  • "Doukki Gel, was an ancient Kerman settlement" contains an incorrect comma, and does not have ending punctuation.
  • Punctuation should go in front of citations, not after.
  • "Doukki Gel was taken over by the Armies of Thutmose I" has an incorrect capital letter and no ending punctuation.
  • "Nubia was conquered into" does not make sense.
  • more incorrect caps
  • run-on sentences
  • more punctuation issues
  • misspellings ("insurrectiion")
  • "Assyrians failed to kr chose not to take the city, Assyrian records show Judah paying tribule" does not make sense due to misspellings and unclear wording.
This is just too much cleanup work to ask others to do. Jessicapierce (talk) 04:24, 19 January 2026 (UTC)
These statements are not by me, but by another editor
"Nubia was conquered into" does not make sense.
more incorrect caps
run-on sentences
more punctuation issues
misspellings ("insurrectiion")
"Assyrians failed to kr chose not to take the city, Assyrian records show Judah paying tribule" does not make sense due to misspellings and unclear wording.
On the other hand the errors of the earlier sentences will be corrected. Jedorton33 (talk) 04:47, 19 January 2026 (UTC)

I have reverted your edits. See my edit summary for more information: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Sub-Saharan_African_music_traditions&diff=1334453805&oldid=1334383400 Drew Stanley (talk) 17:54, 25 January 2026 (UTC)

Stop icon You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war, according to the reverts you've made to Sub-Saharan Africa. This means that you are repeatedly reverting content back to how you think it should be, despite knowing that other editors disagree. Once it is known that there is a disagreement, users are expected to collaborate with others, avoid editing disruptively, and try to reach a consensus – rather than repeatedly reverting the changes made by other users.

Important points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive behavior – regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not engage in edit warring – even if you believe that you are right.

You need to discuss the disagreement on the article's talk page and work towards a revision that represents consensus among everyone involved. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution if discussions reach an impasse. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you continue to engage in edit warring, you may be blocked from editing. M.Bitton (talk) 13:15, 24 January 2026 (UTC)

Using Google + AI as a source

You left a comment on my talk page about this type of source. It's best to think of what a typical user unfamiliar with watermelon etymology, history or science would learn from a source. A Google-AI result would need to be confirmed as reliable in a reputable publication. That's why we use WP:RS with web links to keep the discussion as clear as possible with a reliable reference. Edits to History of Sudan

I've reverted your edits to History of Sudan for a number of reasons which I touched upon in my edit summary.

Among these reasons is that I think the added text is a misrepresentation of source material. The article you used from Sci news never says that watermelons were likely domesticated in or around Kordofan, the title does but the text of the article doesn't, all it says is that the Kordofan Melon is the closest relative to the modern watermelon. Line also says that watermelons were domesticated "around 5000 year ago", which is simply not in the article.

You didn't include any edit summaries, and I don't really see the relevance of what you added. Most of the page is written about the different groups that inhabited Sudan at different times so this paragraph about domestication history at the start doesn't really fit in.

In your paragraph you seem to capitalise words almost at random I don't know what you thought "Cotton" and "Crops" needed to be capitalised, you also didn't use a single period in the paragraph and at one point ended a sentence with a comma. There are a lot of people who don't have a very good grasp on English writing on Wikipedia, but I feel that not capitalising random words and putting a period at an end of a sentence is pretty basic.

This list is non-exhastive, if you want to try to restore your edits please start a topic on the article's talk page. DervotNum4 (talk) 15:38, 31 January 2026 (UTC)

The Kordofan melon is from modern Sudan from kordofan specifically, the implication is that it was domesticated there which should be sufficient, The articles title should also be good enough for that implication, and I have another article that also supports a local or Sudanese/Nubian domesticated origin for the watermelon.

I will correct the capitalised letters, part of the reason I didn't add a period was that I forgot to and made a mistake with the comma, Keep in mind I speak 3 Languages,

also why did you remove all of it then most of it had factual sourced information ?, Removal of all of the entries which was factual information shouldn't of happened as the domestication of other crops (sorghum ) and cattle are proven facts that were well sourced and cited, removal of some with mistakes or not supported by the sources I provide would have been fine.

Also it does fit in with the prehistory paragraph/section the neolithic period in particular.

I can add edit summaries, it's just something I forgot to do, also can I just fix the entries and undo your undid instead ? and just correct these mistakes you've shown .Jedorton33 (talk) 22:14, 4 February 2026 (UTC)

Edits to History of Sudan 2

Once more I've reverted some of your edits to History of Sudan. My main reason for this was that one of your citations didn't work as it was a link to the location of the file on your PC, and the other source there did not support the added text, though this is to be expected given that only half the citations for the content were available. Just so you're aware beforehand, once you do add back your info with a working citation, if it doesn't support the added info, it will be reverted again. DervotNum4 (talk) 17:02, 27 February 2026 (UTC)

Do you have the numbers of the pages you used from The Middle Kingdom of Ancient Egypt: History, Archaeology and Society for the section you added. DervotNum4 (talk) 15:35, 2 March 2026 (UTC)
I was reading through it rather quickly not focused on the page numbers, I also used that citation from another wiki page that cited similar information, I can Guarantee you though everything in my edit was accurate to the citations as I looked at them personally before editing Jedorton33 (talk) 15:57, 4 March 2026 (UTC)
People other than you need to be able to be able to verify that the content you added is supported by your source, per WP:Burden "The cited source must clearly support the material as presented in the article. Cite the source clearly, ideally giving page number(s)—though sometimes a section, chapter, or other division is appropriate instead", no one wants to read through an entire book to figure out where you got something from.
Also can you please stop editing your comments to change their meaning, people don't receive notifications when you do that. DervotNum4 (talk) 17:24, 5 March 2026 (UTC)
Every thing I stated in the edit is in the citations provided, not only that but it is common knowledge among Nubiologist, their were outright inaccurate statements in the old one like the old kingdom Egyptians using the term Kush which they didn't, Iv'e spoken to Nubiologist/egyptologist (julien cooper) about this topic and they've the same statement in the edit, some of the citations are from other wiki pages that made the some of the same statements, But I will try to be more diligent next time and will go back to the sources other wiki pages provided and look at them thoroughly to give you the page and chapter #.

Also can you please stop editing your comments to change their meaning, people don't receive notifications when you do that, Okay. Jedorton33 (talk) 23:56, 5 March 2026 (UTC)

Also can I create a kerma section (between the prehistory and the antiquity sections) , the Kerma culture is widely regarded as the first "civilization" in sub Saharan African and yet their not discussed in this page even though they were very important to Sudanese history.Jedorton33 (talk) 00:00, 6 March 2026 (UTC)
As it stands, speaking to an expert on a subject and using that to support the removal of content is still WP:OR; however if newer research disputes an older source then the older stuff can be replaced per prior WP:AGE MATTERS. As for creating a new section between the two, I say go for it. DervotNum4 (talk) 02:59, 10 March 2026 (UTC)
Okay thank you I will probably create a kerma section in the future (to busy with university/school lately) I think the kerma culture was one of if not arguably the most important part of Sudanese history as it's almost as old as egypt and the harrapan civilizations and that culture deserves a section of it's own, I just need to find the right sources and citations and use correct grammar. Jedorton33 (talk) 16:56, 11 March 2026 (UTC)
I once again come to ask for the page numbers you used from The Middle Kingdom of Ancient Egypt: History, Archaeology and Society. DervotNum4 (talk) 19:34, 19 March 2026 (UTC)
Can you provide the quote i used it as citation for so i can find the page? Jedorton33 (talk) 19:58, 21 March 2026 (UTC)
You used it as a citation on this sting of text "Northern Sudan's earliest historical record comes from ancient Egyptian sources, which described the land upstream as Ta-Seti and later during the middle kingdom upper Nubia as Kush and lower nubia as Wawat. when Thutmose I Conquered the Kerma culture at the Egyptian Invasion of Kerma during the new kingdom and established napata an originally Egyptian city, kush underwent an egyptianization in culture prior to which the kerma culture was highly distinct from Egypt, Kerman elites were then educated in egyptian language and religion in napata where egyptian priest had settled." DervotNum4 (talk) 22:11, 22 March 2026 (UTC)
Can you give me a PDF file for it ? then i'll find it because I burrowed it from another wiki page that quoted the same thing Jedorton33 (talk) 00:42, 24 March 2026 (UTC)
So what you're telling me is that you didn't actually read the source you used and just took it from somewhere else and hoped that it checked out? DervotNum4 (talk) 03:22, 24 March 2026 (UTC)
Yes but if I get the PDF file i'll find the support for the quote it's certainly their which is why the other wiki page used it as a citation Jedorton33 (talk) 03:32, 24 March 2026 (UTC)
The whole reason I have been asking you for a page number is so that I can check to see if you've interpreted the information correctly, so there's no point in you getting me the page number if you haven't actually read the damned thing. Per WP:WHYCITE "The source should be read to ensure it is credible and that the Wikipedia article accurately reflects it before transclusion or copying." I am further shocked by this as you said previously in this thread "I was reading through it rather quickly not focused on the page numbers" and "I can Guarantee you though everything in my edit was accurate to the citations as I looked at them personally before editing". DervotNum4 (talk) 03:52, 24 March 2026 (UTC)
At the time I was reading through it but deleted the PDF which I couldn't find again as it was on google search searched again for it on google and it isn't currently showing up, I wasn't lying if that's what you might be insinuating, but the edit is known factual history I can easily find a new source for it though just give me time Jedorton33 (talk) 04:08, 24 March 2026 (UTC)
Apologies for the inconvenience BTW Jedorton33 (talk) 04:09, 24 March 2026 (UTC)
