Ecological speciation

Hi there. I am currently working on rewriting the ecological speciation article over at my sandbox. You are welcome to contribute or make any corrections. I plan to finish it in the next few days and move it to the mainspace. Andrew Z. Colvin Talk 05:56, 10 December 2020 (UTC)

Edit: I moved it to the mainspace. Andrew Z. Colvin Talk 14:54, 14 December 2020 (UTC)

Information icon Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to Draft:Erik Asmussen, from its old location at User:Jesseseeem/sandbox. This has been done because the Draft namespace is the preferred location for Articles for Creation submissions. Please feel free to continue to work on it there. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. Nathan2055talk - contribs 19:56, 25 May 2021 (UTC)

Thanks very much @Nathan2055:! I've tried to move the page I just created to "Drafts: Erik Asmussen (Developer)" to disambiguate the living game developer the page is about from the deceased Danish architict, but I'm still seeing a warning that it might redirect to the original Erik Asmussen page. Do you have any tips on how to make sure the pages are successfully distinguished? Jesseseeem (talk) 20:32, 25 May 2021 (UTC)

A belated welcome!

The welcome may be belated, but the cookies are still warm!

Here's wishing you a belated welcome to Wikipedia, Jesseseeem! I see that you've already been around a while and wanted to thank you for your contributions. Though you seem to have been successful in finding your way around, you may still benefit from following some of the links below, which help editors get the most out of Wikipedia:

If you don't already know, you should sign your posts on talk pages by using four tildes (~~~~) to insert your username and the date.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Again, welcome! Nathan2055talk - contribs 19:57, 25 May 2021 (UTC)

Your submission at Articles for creation: Erik Asmussen (developer) (May 26)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Robert McClenon was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
The comment the reviewer left was:
This draft, as written, does not appear to indicate that one of the biographical notability criteria is satisfied. If one of the criteria is satisfied, please revise this draft appropriately, with a reliable source, if necessary stating on the talk page or in AFC comments which criterion is met, and resubmit. It is the responsibility of the submitter to show that a subject satisfies a notability criterion.

You may ask for advice about the biographical notability criteria at the Teahouse.

In particular, see and refer to WP:GNG for notability, which is the guideline that the subject should be evaluated against.

The title of this draft has been disambiguated. If this draft is accepted, a hatnote will need to be added to the primary page to refer to this page (unless a disambiguation page is developed instead of or in addition to a hatnote).

The primary page is Erik Asmussen.

This draft does not have enough information to establish general notability.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit when they have been resolved.
  • If you would like to continue working on the submission, go to Draft:Erik Asmussen (developer) and click on the "Edit" tab at the top of the window.
  • If you now believe the draft cannot meet Wikipedia's standards or do not wish to progress it further, you may request deletion. Please go to Draft:Erik Asmussen (developer), click on the "Edit" tab at the top of the window, add "{{Db-g7}}" at the top of the draft text and click the blue "publish changes" button to save this edit.
  • If you do not make any further changes to your draft, in 6 months, it will be considered abandoned and may be deleted.
  • If you need any assistance, or have experienced any untoward behavior associated with this submission, you can ask for help at the Articles for creation help desk, on the reviewer's talk page or use Wikipedia's real-time chat help from experienced editors.

Your submission at Articles for creation: Tarik Rashaan Davis (May 28)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reasons left by Dan arndt were:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
The content of this submission includes material that does not meet Wikipedia's minimum standard for inline citations. Please cite your sources using footnotes. For instructions on how to do this, please see Referencing for beginners. Thank you.
The comment the reviewer left was:
Fails WP:NACTOR / WP:ANYBIO, requires significant coverage in multiple independent secondary sources. YouTube, IMDb and FLS Academy are not acceptable sources and the individual's website is a primary source.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit when they have been resolved.
