Deletion discussion about Expat Asset Management
Hello Kaloyangarnev, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
While your contributions are appreciated, I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Expat Asset Management, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Expat Asset Management.
Deletion discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. Our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. The most common issue in these discussions is notability, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.
If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Mwwv}}. And don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!
(Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)

Thank you for your work on this article. Please add sources and footnotes to back up each claim with a reliable source. Please also establish notability as per WP:GNG. Thanks and have a great day!

A tag has been placed on Expat Asset Management, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Expat Asset Management. (See section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) If a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
- It seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. (See section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, please read our guide to appealing blocks to understand more about unblock requests, and then add the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the end of your user talk page. For an unblock to be considered, you must:
- Confirm that you have read and understand the Terms of Use and paid editing disclosure requirements.
- State clearly how you are being compensated for your edits, and describe any affiliation or conflict of interest you might have with the subjects you have written about.
- Describe how you intend to edit such topics in the future.

Unblock request

Request reason:
Hello dear strangers, and thank you for being volunteers in helping the ones who are lost, stuck or have made a conscious or an unconscious mistake, such as myself. I am the user, and this is my talk page. I had my account blocked recently. I tried my best to write two pages for the biggest asset management company in my country (Bulgaria). I am a strong advocate of financial literacy and wanted to contribute with my knowledge and experience. I have carefully read the Guide to appealing blocks, the different possible reasons for an account to be blocked, and most importantly, why my user was blocked, regarding the reasons of "advertising" promotional material, notability and being linked to the topic in a way that the editor is getting reimbursed to write the topic. I would like to be completely transparent. I have been in Expat as an intern for a brief period of time in the past but not anymore. That is why I got inspired by the topic of asset management as a whole. And that is why I felt suitable to write these 2 pages - "Expat Asset management" and "Expat ETFs". I would like to underline and imply that I am not currently working at Expat Asset Management, nor have I ever been paid by this company. I am trying to write this as straight as possible, as I do understand the convictions and reasons behind the blocking of this account. Under no circumstances would I try to spread promotional or spam material within the English Wikipedia. Personally, I duly respect and rely on Wikipedia every single day and value the quality of every approved page. even more when I remind myself that Wikipedia is mostly run by volunteers. In the course of two months, I was trying to craft the two pages that this user (my user: kaloyangarnev) has created, to provide information backed with sources yet thoroughly analysed to be correct. As a conclusion to this paragraph, I would like to apologise if I have caused any disturbance in the environment of wikipedia and to be honest, I feel guilty of having done the wrong things while trying to do better - even after rewriting the pages to meet requirements. Throughout my life I have always aimed for perfection, yet not achieved it sometimes. I understand the reason for the ban is promotional material and being related to the topic of the pages I have written. I wouldlike to try again and contribute as meaningfully as possible to Wikipedia. However, I totally respect any decision you make. Kind regards, Kaloyan. If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- If I understand you correctly, you were once an unpaid intern at Expat Asset Management, but not now. If so, you still have a COI with the company, which you acknowledge in this AfD. Please review Wikipedia's conflict of interest policies and guidelines, then explain in your own words how those apply to your block and what you would do differently if unblocked. -MPGuy2824 (talk) 11:32, 14 January 2026 (UTC)
- The conflict of interest was acknowledged due to Good Faith and full transparency. I intended to share that, through my past exposure to the topic, I could add value to the page I wrote, providing a better synthax, structure and information about the topic. Having read the conflict of interest policies and guidelines, I am aware that the COI is applied even to unpaid interns. Yet, I am not an intern anymore and not connected to the company. I would act differently, if unblocked, as I would not want to have a negative effect upon the notability of the information in Wikipedia and the reputation of the company for which the Wikipedia page I have crafted is about. Even though I have aimed for notability, non-promotional material and the truthfulness of the content. LLMs, of course, excluded. It has been a learning curve for me, crafting the pages, and sticking to the guidelines and rules, yet when applied in practice, one could fail to be perfect. Thank you for considering this message! Kind regards, Kaloyangarnev (Kaloyangarnev (talk) 09:46, 15 January 2026 (UTC))

Can you clarify more precisely? Your comment addresses more the "why" than the "what", and unblock admins might be interested in more practical concerns. So far I have aimed to back up every claim with a credible source. Add internal wikipedia links achors to topics that also have a wiki -page for a smoother experience. Most importantly, remove any content with an even slight inclination towards any promotional tone or bias. I would try to strike the balance between adding more information and avoid it being interpreted as advertising. The latter is something that does not concern me. So, any information about the company achievements should be carefully benchmarked and evaluated and whenerever suitable, provided with comparison with other companies in the sector. The pages would aim to grasp straight to the point factology while also expanding the breadth and depth, interlinking it with topics that are related to the page. Another important action that I plan to undertake is to act as an editor/ suggest how can other pages in the segment be enhanced - for example pages about exchange traded funds, exchanges, indexes in the CEE region- not mentioning the company that my user has written- just adding a layer of interesting facts where suitable. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kaloyangarnev (talk • contribs)(Kaloyangarnev (talk) 16:06, 15 January 2026 (UTC))

Dear Wikipedia administrators, thank you for this discussion so far. I have been reflecting even more on the case and the reasoning behind the block, reading Wikipedia articles and gaining a better perception of the nuances of expression, catering to the notability, nutrality and verifiability. There is decent coverage on the CEE (Central and Eastern Europe) Markets Region. However, certain pages do not provide well-backed, well-rounded information. I would like to contribute to these articles with research-backed content. I also wanted to consolidate my reflection on the reasons why my user got blocked in the first place. As per my last comment, the delicate intercept between providing more valuable information without it being considered as promotional material is something I take very seriously. Thank you once again for considering this "Unblock Request". I wish you all a pleasant week ahead :). Hi there! Do you have any interest in editing topics unrelated to Expat? Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 19:20, 25 January 2026 (UTC)
- Yes. I would like to contribute, yet again related to asset management and the CEE region. Kaloyangarnev (talk) 07:39, 26 January 2026 (UTC)

- Agriculture, with an emphasis on regenerative agriculture in specific. Measures and approaches to facilitate adoption of sustainable practices. (Kaloyangarnev (talk) 07:42, 27 January 2026 (UTC))
- Kaloyangarnev, could you give us a couple of actual examples of specific edits you might wish to make? – they don't have to be large or particularly significant edits, just a couple of things that you think could be improved, and how you'd go about improving them. Thank you, Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 18:51, 27 January 2026 (UTC)
