- Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
- It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
- If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
- Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
- When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
- If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
- Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.
Happy editing! Cheers, '''[[User:CanonNi]]''' (talk • contribs) 05:28, 5 January 2025 (UTC)
Hello there. I'd recommend that you use fast and efficient tools such as WP:Twinkle or WP:Ultraviolet to revert and warn Users within 3 clicks. Just a thought, thought. Hacked (Talk|Contribs) 05:53, 24 January 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you, I quite new to this and don't know how to do everything properly yet. This was very helpful Nixovel (talk) 05:56, 24 January 2025 (UTC)
- Yeah, I've faced similar problems when I was an inexperienced User. If you have further questions about anything, feel free to ask me or the editors at the WP:Teahouse. Hacked (Talk|Contribs) 05:58, 24 January 2025 (UTC)
LTA
Hey, just as a note, nothing you’ve done wrong. But personally if/when I’ve reverted that LTA that targets the Teahouse and elsewhere I don’t bother templating the talkpage. WP:DENY and all. Just revert and report and move on seems to be the best way to deal with it. Regards, -bɜ:ʳkənhɪmez | me | talk to me! 08:50, 24 January 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks, I quite new so I'm still learning the ropes :D. Nixovel (talk) 08:52, 24 January 2025 (UTC)
- No worries. Usually template warnings are appropriate even when it’s someone obviously vandalizing. But in this case, the templates will have no effect so DENY is best to follow :) -bɜ:ʳkənhɪmez | me | talk to me! 08:53, 24 January 2025 (UTC)

Please help me with... I would like some help with the notiblity criteria. I working on Draft:Traicee E. McKenzie and am having concerns over whether the subject is notible enough to have their own Wikipedia page. Nixleovel (talk) 22:21, 14 May 2025 (UTC)
- For a judge at her level, there is no presumption of notability. You might still be able to demonstrate notability if you can find suitable articles with significant coverage, but I did not find anything meeting that description in a quick search. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 23:08, 14 May 2025 (UTC)
A barnstar for you!
The World Destubathon
Hello. You're invited to participate in The World Destubathon. We're aiming to destub a lot of articles and also improve longer stale articles. It started today on Monday June 16 and will run until Sunday July 13. There is over $3300 going into it, with $500 the top prize. If you are interested in winning something to save you money in buying books for future content, or just see it as a good editathon opportunity to see a lot of articles improved for subjects which interest you, sign up on the page in the participants section if interested. Even if you can only manage a few articles they would be very much appreciated and help make the content produced as diverse and broad as possible! ♦ Dr. Blofeld 21:10, 16 June 2025 (UTC)
Non-religious additions to Military Chaplains
You removed my updates to the Military Chaplains page which included the addition of non-religious chaplains in the chaplain sphere, the addition of non-religious chaplains to the United Kingdom, the addition that more international militaries now have non-religious chaplains (Canada and UK for instance), and the fact military chaplains are now charged with the responsibility of belief as well as religious needs. This is not an opinion but a fact which can be independently checked. 94.197.95.181 (talk) 05:51, 19 July 2025 (UTC)
- Hello. The problem was that when you added it, you provided no source for these claim making them non-verfiable. Without a source, these appear as personel opinion instead of fact. WP:Burden Nixleovel (He/They) (Talk • Contribs) 05:58, 19 July 2025 (UTC)
- Ack, and agree with the point. I will add in the sources I have to cross reference. Thank you for your feedback, I follow the logic now of what it was I needed to do. 94.197.95.181 (talk) 06:03, 19 July 2025 (UTC)
Did Ultraviolet not alert you that the page was already listed at RfPP?
Hey, just wanted to check if UV doesn’t alert users to prevent duplicate request for page already listed at RfPP? I use Twinkle for RfPP requests, which checks first before posting a dupe, so just not sure - might be worth reporting to the UV devs otherwise. Raladic (talk) 06:04, 19 July 2025 (UTC)
- @Raladic It usually does. I'll get right on that. Nixleovel (He/They) (Talk • Contribs) 06:23, 19 July 2025 (UTC)
- Ok, just wasn't sure. It could be because our timing was very close, based on the timestamp my report went in at 05:26:37 just a minute (or technically 26 seconds) before yours at 05:27:03, but I figured I'd ask since I know that UV is still in development, so could be that there's room for improvement of when the script checks for duplicate reports :)
- But arguably, this was probably a rare case. I'll put a note on the UV talk page and link to this here and the devs can decide if they want to check/improve it, or if trying to optimize for half-a-minute difference in report time is okay as a probably rare occurence. Raladic (talk) 17:44, 19 July 2025 (UTC)
- Note on UV talk Wikipedia talk:Ultraviolet#Race condition in reporting a page to RfPP resulting in duplicate?.
- Have a nice day :) Raladic (talk) 17:51, 19 July 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you so much. I wasn't exactly sure where to put it. Nixleovel (He/They) (Talk • Contribs) 21:20, 19 July 2025 (UTC)

My IEP edit
I was just making sure that people knew all sides of the story when I made the edit to make it clear that the funding came from taxpayers John George III (talk) 22:07, 2 November 2025 (UTC)
- @John George III It was already stated in the previous sentence so restating it was unnecessary. Nixleovel (He/They) (Talk • Contribs) 18:24, 4 November 2025 (UTC)
