Hello, I'm Waxworker. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Star Films, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Waxworker (talk) 12:21, 6 April 2025 (UTC)

Please do not add or change content, as you did at Sears, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources to see how to add references to an article. What are you doing? That source is dated July 23, and it clearly states that there were 8 stores as of then. Meters (talk) 23:45, 12 August 2025 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Sears, you may be blocked from editing. This is not a minor edit Meters (talk) 02:15, 14 August 2025 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced or poorly sourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Sears. Do not change this unless you actually have a reliable source giving the count. A past source saying that a store is expected to have closed is not sufficient. Ad stop calling these minor edits. You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced or poorly sourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Sears. What part of the previous warning was unclear? You cannot use an old ref claiming that a store will close to show that it has closed. And this is not a minor edit. Meters (talk) 08:13, 1 September 2025 (UTC)
- the stores in San Juan, Puerto Rico and Burnak california closed yesterday. ShayonD19 (talk) 08:53, 1 September 2025 (UTC)
- Great. Then provide reliable sources that say that they are closed, not that they will close. You added a reference from July 9, 2024 stating that a store would be closing in August. That is not a sufficient claim that the store has closed. I'm not going to explain this to you again. If you do this again I will ask for you to be blocked. Meters (talk) 09:14, 1 September 2025 (UTC)
- the reference says that the store will close on august 31 and today is September 1 ShayonD19 (talk) 09:35, 1 September 2025 (UTC)
- What part of my previous comments do you not understand? That reference was published on July 9, 2025. It is not a reliable source to claim that the store actually did close on August 31. Provide a reliable source stating the the store has closed or leave it alone. And it is WP:SYNTH to combine a source about a store closing with source total count to generate a new total count. Meters (talk) 09:49, 1 September 2025 (UTC)
- Did you not believe me when I said I would request a block if you did this again? Block requested. Meters (talk) 09:57, 1 September 2025 (UTC)
- Restoring the same claim with the same July 9 ref is not a good idea. Falsely claiming in your edit summary that you were adding a "new" ref makes it more than a bit difficult to WP:AGF. Meters (talk) 10:01, 1 September 2025 (UTC)
- What about the lines at the end of the history section that say that the 3 stores in Whittier & Burbank, California & San JUan Puerto Rico closed by August 31, 2025, isn't that proof enough that the store count should be reduced to 5 even if no source says so. ShayonD19 (talk) 12:38, 1 September 2025 (UTC)
- No. Again, read WP:SYNTH. And those source do not say that the stores have closed. They say the the stores were expected to close. Meters (talk) 22:03, 1 September 2025 (UTC)
- Search on google and google ai will say that whittier, burbank and san juan are closed ShayonD19 (talk) 06:57, 2 September 2025 (UTC)
- Google AI is not a reliable source. Neither is the personal YouTube video you added. And falsely claiming than an August 11 source is from August 31 is more than a bit troubling. My WP:AGF is done. You are already at WP:ANI,and continuing to make these edits is not going to help your case. Meters (talk) 10:12, 2 September 2025 (UTC)
- Your third ref is paywalled and I cannot see it. What exactly does it say? Unless it explicitly says that there are 5 remaining stores you cannot use it to make that claim. If it only says that the store has closed then it is WP:SYNTH to combine that with other refs to calculate the number of stores. Meters (talk) 10:17, 2 September 2025 (UTC)
