Ways to improve M61 derby

Hello, Thejamescycle,

Thank you for creating M61 derby.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

This term would be better as a redirect to List of association football rivalries in the United Kingdom unless you can provide enough sources to prove it is notable.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Orange sticker}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.

why do you want to delete my hard work this is something i care a lot about, people have fought blood has been spilled in westoughton over what the page is about take it seriously. Thejamescycle (talk) 09:56, 10 March 2026 (UTC)
I'm not Orange sticker but I'll reply anyway. Wikipedia's sourcing requirements apply to every article and right now, the article has zero sources. If the topic is notable, you can demonstrate that through significant coverage, for example newspaper articles; see WP:SIGCOV. Robby.is.on (talk) 10:17, 10 March 2026 (UTC)

Request reason:

I do not believe I have done anything wrong Thejamescycle (talk) 18:25, 10 March 2026 (UTC)

Decline reason:

Given that your edit to Nigel Farage was so offside that it had to removed from non-admin view, you not thinking you did anything worng would be a reason to extend the block, not remove it. Ponyobons mots 19:01, 10 March 2026 (UTC)

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Rodri (footballer, born 1996), disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Please see MOS:REPEATLINK. Thank you. Annh07 (talk) 13:10, 5 April 2026 (UTC)

Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages by deliberately introducing incorrect information, as you did at Liverpool F.C., you may be blocked from editing. Mattythewhite (talk) 13:08, 6 April 2026 (UTC)

how is it vandalism when it is correct information? give it a rest mate you seem a bit sad. got nothing better to do on easter monday then go around destroying what other people add to wiki cause you cant do anything constructive yourself? if i wrote grass was green would you be kicking up a fuss? Thejamescycle (talk) 13:11, 6 April 2026 (UTC)
"a bit sad": what, are you twelve years old? The sooner you get bored of this place, the better. Mattythewhite (talk) 13:14, 6 April 2026 (UTC)
course your upset your from the losing side. roses are red. Thejamescycle (talk) 13:15, 6 April 2026 (UTC)
Nothing better to do with your Easter Monday than trawl through someone's Wikipedia user page? Why not vandalise it while you're at it, I can tell you're thinking about it? Mattythewhite (talk) 13:19, 6 April 2026 (UTC)
nah tbf lad youve got quite a good user page there, rather jealous. wouldnt want to destroy it, rather use as a future reference point, its well good. Thejamescycle (talk) 13:20, 6 April 2026 (UTC)
how did you make that box with all your key info? Thejamescycle (talk) 13:31, 6 April 2026 (UTC)
The boxes on the left hand side? The code for it is here. Mattythewhite (talk) 13:34, 6 April 2026 (UTC)
dunno what to do with that, or how to add something like that to my page, or how to edit any of the content. Thejamescycle (talk) 13:39, 6 April 2026 (UTC)

Information icon Hi Thejamescycle! I noticed that you recently made an edit at Bolton Wanderers F.C. and marked it as "minor", but it may not have been. On Wikipedia, "minor edit" refers only to superficial edits that could never be disputed, such as fixing typos or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not minor, even if it only concerns a single word. I also just wanted to remind you that edit summaries are usually suggested :) TheClocksAlwaysTurn (The Clockworks) (contribs) 14:56, 6 April 2026 (UTC)

hi sorry, i often forget to summarise will do more often. thanks for letting me know, i thought minor would be something largely insignificant like a slight historical update or fix to something mildly innaccurate, i will stop marking things as such. Thejamescycle (talk) 16:06, 6 April 2026 (UTC)
No worries! I understand that it can be hard to figure out what constitutes as minor, as I struggled with it myself when I first started out. Happy editing! TheClocksAlwaysTurn (The Clockworks) (contribs) 16:27, 6 April 2026 (UTC)

Feedback
The reviewer, Ortizesp, left the following feedback:
This draft's references do not show that the subject meets Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion. The draft requires multiple published secondary sources that:
  • provide significant coverage: discuss the subject in detail, not just brief mentions or routine announcements;
  • are reliable: from reputable outlets with editorial oversight;
  • are independent: not connected to the subject, such as interviews, press releases, the subject's own website, or sponsored content.
Please add references that meet all three of these criteria. If none exist, the subject is not yet suitable for Wikipedia.
Not sure there's coverage about the derby itself, especially under this name.
