Proposed deletion of Tropical cyclones in 2014

The article Tropical cyclones in 2014 has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
This article is obviously incomplete, and has been incomplete since it was created in December 2018. It appears to reflect a plan by a task force to create articles on years that summarize all tropical cyclone activity around the world, but it appears to have been abandoned as soon as the skeleton was created. The monthly headings are not followed by actual listings of storms. Actual information is found in articles by years and basins, so that this level of information, by year, is not needed, and is not being maintained.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 2022 Ohio State Buckeyes football team, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Spartan Stadium. | A belated thanks for your complete overhaul of the U.S. eclipse list. That article had been AfD’d because of it being “cruft”, and was nearly deleted back in March. Hurricane Clyde 🌀my talk page! 20:19, 21 October 2024 (UTC) |

Thanks for your contributions to 2025 Stanford Cardinal football team. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Moon (in June)
Hello. Finally checked to see who was adding the details on solar eclipse pages and lowercasing "moon", which is uppercased on Wikipedia. Please change the template you use for this, and if any of your newest edits contain the miscapitalization please fix those (I've worked my way up from 1900 onwards but see that you're still adding to 20th century items). Other uppercasings include Earth and Sun in case you have those in your edits. The particular sentence which needed uppercasing fixing for 'Moon' is in the section "Eclipse details" and reads "The first table outlines times at which the Moon's penumbra or umbra attains..." Thanks. Randy Kryn (talk) 13:47, 8 September 2025 (UTC)
Done, at least in the 'Eclipse details' section of the solar eclipses. Nice work by the way, you've been very productive in improving Wikipedia's eclipse collection. Randy Kryn (talk) 15:45, 8 September 2025 (UTC)- Hey, thanks for the message. I'll fix it up as I go! Any specific templates/sections need fixed?
- Thanks. Weatherman4064 (talk) 18:49, 8 September 2025 (UTC)
- You're welcome. The only one I was fixing was the uppercasing of 'Moon' in the 'Eclipse details' sentence quoted above. That's something to look out for in editing things like eclipses, making sure Moon, Sun, and Earth are uppercased. Enjoy! Randy Kryn (talk) 22:30, 8 September 2025 (UTC)
