Take a break please

You are frustrated when editing about BFDI. Please take a break and edit on another subject for a bit. Star Mississippi 01:38, 16 December 2025 (UTC)

+1, try editing or creating an article in a different area since you succeeded in creating so many biography articles. Object shows have been a bit of a hot topic among editors, and I think most new articles related to them will be deleted/face some opposition for a while regardless of who makes them. HurricaneZetaC 01:40, 16 December 2025 (UTC)
Hm alright Wikiman2230 (talk) 02:41, 16 December 2025 (UTC)
Following the above, you replied RIP the article and Yeah we get it , this isn't helpful for building an encyclopedia. Please take a break instead of continually expressing your malcontent to editors acting in good faith. fifteen thousand two hundred twenty four (talk) 23:32, 16 December 2025 (UTC)
I second this; apart from BFDI and its related articles, object show articles are not going to be accepted on Wikipedia until notability is demonstrated. This isn't guaranteed to happen, and even if it did, it would take a while. --not-cheesewhisk3rs ≽^•⩊•^≼ ∫ (pester) 19:54, 16 December 2025 (UTC)

The comment the reviewer left was:
Because the organization does not appear to meet the alternate criteria at WP:NORG, we fall back to WP:GNG, and because there is only one source (which is primary), we have no sources that establish notability. Also, the List of Ministers section is unsourced, causing verification issues for readers.

Recent reverts on PFF flag

Hello, I've noticed you have reverted some of my additions of a vector file for the flag of the People's Fighters Front. You've listed them as "inaccurate flag", but I am unable to find any source that verifies the crescent of their flag being at an angle, while the social media posts showing its orientation appear to show a completely upright orientation (I have determined the second link, of one of their public statements, to not be showing the crescent at an angle; the upper point of the crescent is too close to the edge of the field for it to be at any orientation other than upright). Do you have any sources showing an angled orientation? If so, I can update the flag to be accurate, so that a vector file can be used either way, instead of a blind revert to a raster file. Nihilberry (talk) 01:15, 19 January 2026 (UTC)

@Nihilberry This source [] indicates the jpg flag Wikiman (talk) 01:28, 19 January 2026 (UTC)
I have seen that, but that's not a physical flag, that's a logo - the image shows none of the crescent on the physical flag. I do not believe that to be proof enough to say that is the correct orientation when several other images of real-world PFF flags use the upright orientation. Also, that image shows the blue tip of the crescent again, which falls into the same proofing as the second link I provided - the upper tip of the crescent still appears to be in line with the lower one in their physical flags, unless they happened to simply reuse an old flag. That being said, it is theoretically possible they made a minor change in orientation of the flag since 12/12/2025 (some more direct images for more examples), but further sources show the logo as being the same as the one you are showing at the same date as the former link. The latter link here contains a link to a direct social media post which shows both the logo and the upright orientation of the flag shown, albeit the flag hanging and folding does make it appear to be at more of an angle than it actually is. Nihilberry (talk) 01:44, 19 January 2026 (UTC)
@Nihilberry Valid. Very well then, you may change it along with the template data as well. I might as well agree here, but I do think it's an alternate flag alongside the jpg. Wikiman (talk) 01:48, 19 January 2026 (UTC)
Ultimately, I think it's safer to use the physical flags that have been seen, although if you do find any sources which prove an angled orientation, feel free to bug me about it - I prepared an angled version of the vector file off the original raster image, before I found the images showing the physical flags' designs, so I can simply switch it out and reverting to a raster file can be avoided. Thanks for discussing this, though. Nihilberry (talk) 01:56, 19 January 2026 (UTC)
@Nihilberry No problem. I reverted it because originally, the svg file was someone's recreation of the flag, which was deemed to be inaccurate as per source I listed prior. Glad we could discuss this in a civilized manner. Wikiman (talk) 02:22, 19 January 2026 (UTC)

Short description on a navbox

Hello, Wikiman. I just wanted to inform you that you added a short description to a navbox. This edit caused an issue where the 2026 Afghanistan–Pakistan war article appeared to lack a short description when it had one. Next time, please do not add short descriptions to templates. It's alright to make these kind of mistakes. I am just informing you so that you don't make them again. Also, you don't have to worry about this being an issue anymore. The short description was removed by another editor. Thanks in advance. - Sebbog13 (talk) 03:20, 28 February 2026 (UTC)

Thank you for letting me know. I originally put it as blank because since t was a template, it didnt really need a description. Thanks again Wikiman (talk) 03:24, 28 February 2026 (UTC)

Your submission at Articles for creation: A Very 1999 Christmas (March 1)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by RangersRus was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of music-related topics). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
The comment the reviewer left was:
Sources are quite poor.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit it after they have been resolved.
