You prod'ed this and I supported. A TA has now expended it. You may want to look and consider AFD. - UtherSRG (talk) 14:53, 13 March 2026 (UTC)

Hi, thank you for the heads up! Most of what I previously found in svenska tidningar were just mentions, hence the prod. I will review the TA's added sources and see if it could arguably amount to GNG. Zzz plant (talk) 15:04, 13 March 2026 (UTC)

Hi Plant, since I can't speak in template:Did you know nominations/Ivor Wynne, I want to clarify that I did do my own source checking just to be sure and it was reasonably met with no issues on behalf.

Cheers,

RE: Fred Hlava

Hi! I saw that you struck the date of birth on the article for Fred Hlava. Could you help me understand why? My understanding of WP:DOB is that the inclusion of the date of birth is acceptable because the subject is notable as a former member of a state legislature and the source for the date of birth is reliable (in that case, as part of the state legislator's biography on the state website). Thank you! PA Uploader (talk) 22:28, 11 April 2026 (UTC)

Hi! Ah, my bad, archive.org was glitching when I patrolled the page- I see now it's there so you can add it back if you like. I usually just err on the side of removing it if the DoB isn't stated explicitly in the article body or infobox w/ a source. I'd maybe specify date in the article body just for clarity since it's sourced. Thanks for checking in, and keep up the good work on the Nebraska politicians! Thank you!! I just wanted to make sure that I was drafting articles consistent with Wikipedia policy. I appreciate it! PA Uploader (talk) 22:34, 11 April 2026 (UTC)

Wikipedia:Destubathon of the Americas

You are invited to participate in the Destubathon of the Americas, a contest/editathon which will run from May 1 to May 31. The goal is to destub as many of our 475,000+ stubs for the Americas (from Alaska down to Chile) as possible. A good chance to have fun in expanding many of our old stale stubs and win up to £2000 ($2680) in Amazon vouchers for expanding stub articles. Sign up in the Contestants/participants section on the contest page if interested. Even if not interested in prizes you are still warmly welcome to participate in it as an editathon! Hopefully we can achieve something significant in the month of May together! ♦ Dr. Blofeld 17:46, 15 April 2026 (UTC)
