Tasks and problems
Maintain demographics contents navigation pages
The following pages are reference aids that present the structure of the subject of demographics, and of Wikipedia's coverage of this subject. They inform users of the topics that make up demographics, while at the same time serve as a site map for this subject on Wikipedia. They complement Wikipedia's search box (the main weakness of which is that you can't enter a term you don't already know), by showing you what's here. And because they are the "keys to the kingdom", the development and maintenance of this subject's reference aids (listed below) are among the most important responsibilities of this WikiProject:
- Wikipedia:WikiProject Outline of knowledge/Drafts/Topic outline of demographics - demographics isn't currently included in Wikipedia's Outline of knowledge. This is the draft of demographics' outline page, and it needs to be completed and moved to article space once completed. Once this is done, a link to it should be added to Portal:Contents/Lists of basic topics#Geography and places.
- List of demographics articles - alphabetical index of the articles belonging to this subject. It needs to be started and built.
- Category:Demographics - the main page of this topic's network of category pages. Each demographics-related article should be included in this network.
- Portal:Demographics - this subject's Portal (analogous to Wikipedia's Main page, but specifically for this subject). It needs to be created.
