Cloud computing articles are currently rarely referenced within WikiProject Software. I actively contribute to cloud-related pages and propose that cloud computing be considered within scope due to the substantial overlap between modern software engineering and cloud computing. Cloud computing has been an established field for roughly two decades, and a large proportion of contemporary software is deployed on some form of cloud environment, including private, public, platform-based, or virtualized systems. While cloud computing also encompasses infrastructure and service delivery, a significant portion of its research, implementation, and operational practice is software-centric and aligns with the project’s existing focus.
