Damehåndbolddatabasen
I proposed a new Wikidata properties Damehåndbolddatabasen ID, the Danish website which gives a lot of data about female player from main national teams and European clubs, generally with many sources on club transfers, injuries, pregnancies. So I you think this property may be helpful, please vote! LeFnake (talk) 14:04, 18 October 2024 (UTC)

Page vandalised by ip breaking "crystal ball" rule, adding transfer rumors. All similar edits he made to more clubs should be reverted. 93.138.218.98 (talk) 22:45, 19 November 2024 (UTC)

When is the article quality reassessed?
And how? Lois Abbingh for example is still classed as a stub for example, but as it is now the article is relatively good. Fregerslev (talk) 22:11, 27 February 2025 (UTC)
- Fregerslev, there is a giant backlog of stubs that haven't been re-assessed in years and years. In Category:Stub-Class law articles there were 17,006 entries on 3/12/25 when I started assessing them. Nettrom created for me a list of all the law stubs that are clearly not stubs anymore. With his help, I've got those down to about 15,639. I suggest that if you want handball stubs re-assessed, then do it yourself. As a courtesy, I'll reassess the article above. - thanks for your answer Fregerslev (talk) 10:20, 6 June 2025 (UTC)

U17
Hey, @Malo95 and LeFnake: and all other handball editors. How should the template be called for the teams for the 2025 IHF Men's U17 Handball World Championship. "hbu|17" or something like this? Kante4 (talk) 10:50, 29 September 2025 (UTC)
- {{hb17}} has just been created a few days ago by Almagestas, but I'm not sure any U17 NT exist (and I don't think they are notable enough to have their own pages)?--LeFnake (talk) 17:08, 29 September 2025 (UTC)
- Ah missed that. I think it should be used, for example FIBA teams have their own articles (yeah, yeah, other stuff but still). Kante4 (talk) 18:06, 29 September 2025 (UTC)
- Sorry for the late answer. Switzerland has a U17 team for boys and a U16 team for girls: https://www.handball.ch/de/nationalteams/ 🤾♂️ Malo95 (talk) 14:33, 19 October 2025 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of Pallamano Pressano

The article Pallamano Pressano has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Tagged as Unreferenced and for Notability concerns for 8 years. No other language has a reliably sourced article from which to translate. The Italian language article has no sources.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Discussion about WikiProject banner templates
For WikiProjects that participate in rating articles, the banners for talk pages usually say something like:
- "This article has been rated as Low-importance on the importance scale."
There is a proposal to change the default wording on the banners to say "priority" instead of "importance". This could affect the template for your group. Please join the discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Council#Proposal to update wording on WikiProject banners. More detailed Euro 2026 referees list
The Referees table for the 2026 European Men's Handball Championship is clunky and and I wanted to improve it by adding a bit more detail.
This was the table I made:
| Country | Referees | Assigned games |
|---|---|---|
| Amar Konjičanin | Preliminary round, Group B: Preliminary round, Group A: Main round, Group I: | |
| Dino Konjičanin | ||
| Mads Hansen | Preliminary round, Group D: Preliminary round, Group F: Preliminary round, Group E: | |
| Jesper Madsen | ||
| Robert Schulze | Preliminary round, Group F: Preliminary round, Group E: | |
| Tobias Tönnies | ||
| Ádám Bíró | Preliminary round, Group C: Preliminary round, Group A: | |
| Olivér Kiss | ||
| Jónas Elíasson | Preliminary round, Group A: Preliminary round, Group C: Main round, Group II: Main round, Group I: | |

| David Sok | ||
| Andreú Marin | Preliminary round, Group F: Preliminary round, Group D: | |

| Kürşad Erdoğan | Preliminary round, Group D: Preliminary round, Group C: | |
| İbrahim Özdeniz |
I saw that the German version of the Wikipedia page had each assigned game for each ref in the table and though that could be an interesting thing to add. Would you support this table replacing the other one which only includes the names and nationalities? ILoveSport2006 (talk) 19:45, 24 January 2026 (UTC)

Hi there, dropping a link here to a question I've asked on the talk page listed above. I'm unsure how likely the talk page of the template is to be seen by someone who may be able to help. Thanks. • Quinn (talk) 20:41, 1 March 2026 (UTC)
