List of people executed in the United States in 1951

One hundred and one people, one hundred male and one female, were executed in the United States in 1951, eighty by electrocution, fourteen by gas chamber, five by hanging, and two by firing squad.[1] This is the most recent year with at least one hundred executions carried out in America — the closest total during the post-Gregg era was in 1999, when nearly one hundred people were executed.
