Constituency of Bangladesh's Jatiya Sangsad From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Sylhet-6 is a constituency represented in the Jatiya Sangsad (National Parliament) of Bangladesh. Since 12 February 2026, it has been represented by Advocate Emran Ahmed Chowdhury of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP).

The constituency encompasses Beanibazar and Golapganj upazilas, integrating these areas within a single administrative and electoral boundary.[1][2]

The constituency was created for the first general elections in newly independent Bangladesh, held in 1973.
