Giant Publisher's Ad

Read the article with an objective eye and you'll know what I mean. I am excited for this game, but there's no reason to make claims about photo-realistic graphics and such.  Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.12.146.119 (talk) 22:12, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

The Spoiler Warning

Is it really needed? I know under the Story heading it has a paragraph starting with "In the beginning of the game...", but that whole section basically serves as a back story as to why Alan has come to Bright Falls, and what has started to happen now that he is there. IMO there aren't any major plot details being "spoiled" here, those usually come further into the game. It's the sort of info people want to know, as opposed to spoilers such as major characters dying etc. ChrisJP 12:31, 20 May 2007 (UTC)

Wikipedia doesn't do spoiler warnings... There shouldn't be one, even if it came right out and said "Alan killed Laura Palmer!!" in bold text. Steve 214.3.138.234 (talk) 18:38, 17 August 2010 (UTC)

Silent Hill 2

Hmm. The story as described here really reminds me (to put it nicely) of Silent Hill 2... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.43.182.51 (talk) 01:14, 3 October 2007 (UTC)

Story

The plot synopsis used in this article differs from what can be found at official website. For example, Alice is not Alan´s fiancée (they´re married), she disappears AFTER arrival to Bright Falls, etc... Could anyone fix it? (I´m afraid I´m not able to do it myself). 79.127.160.90 (talk) 20:17, 20 January 2009 (UTC)

I will fix it.  Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.160.157.119 (talk) 01:50, 22 January 2009 (UTC)

I fixed the plot so now it is the same synopis as the website. I am a unidentified user who likes to help update articles. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.160.157.119 (talk) 02:04, 22 January 2009 (UTC)

References

  • This is trivial, but there is no need for inlines in the lead/infobox unless they follow a contentious statement (this lead has none).
  • Per checklinks, some of these references are currently dead links. GameSpot in particular just moved everything around; the content should still be there but the URL has changed.
  • The last paragraph in Gameplay cites no sources.

Coverage

  • The downloadable content section has no mention of the reception or performance of either release. Even a sentence or two would be nice.
  • The Cast section is pretty tiny. It could be cut, or the list of voice actors could be put into Story somewhere.

The article is quite good and the notes above are small problems. Great work! — Mr. V (tc) 07:41, 14 November 2013 (UTC)

Since the nominator only made four edits three months ago, and only two were trivial fixes to this article, I took the liberty of addressing all the issues you mentioned above. Let me know if everything looks good. —Torchiest talkedits 02:24, 18 November 2013 (UTC)
@Torchiest: The Gamestation interview link is broken...I'm unable to find it on their website. But since it is used only twice in the article, and in sentences that are also cited by other sources, it can simply be cut. We're good to go! — Mr. V]] (tc) 00:05, 19 November 2013 (UTC)
