Going to work on this some more.
Rationale on approving article
While I'm not sure the Windows version alone passes WP:GNG, there's a review for the Playdate version in Engadget that in my opinion makes the game pass when discussing the two as versions of the same game. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ (ᴛ) 06:18, 25 September 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks mate - at draft to mainspace, there's still a few issues, but agree WP:SOURCESEXIST and now it's more just cleaning up the article and finding the remaining reviews. I recall seeing a Rock Paper Shotgun article also. VRXCES (talk) 08:16, 25 September 2025 (UTC)
Potential source for reception section.
I can't read the whole article at this time, but The Verge has a an article calling this "The strangest game of the year". Mbrickn (talk) 15:14, 28 September 2025 (UTC)
Original Research concerns
It's been a while since I edited here regularly, but a lot of the items added since approval read like original research. I've watched enough Blippo+ to know that the uncited statements seem more or less accurate, at least when I speed read them, but I'm not a reliable source either. We should seriously consider what is being added, and if it can be backed up by reliable sources. Mbrickn (talk) 15:44, 29 September 2025 (UTC)
- Agreed. I'm a watcher and enjoyer of Blippo+ myself and most of what I've seen lines up with what's in the article, but I'm not a RS either. And with additional primary material about the game being either nonexistent (yet) or deliberately obtuse, I think it'll be very hard to back them up with reliable sources, at least until the primary documentary is released or a secondary source does a deep dive review.
- Having said that, for the story section specifically, we can use the game itself for straightforward plot summaries. If I get a moment, I'll see if I can clean up some of the less straightforward and in-universe perspective elements. - Umby 🌕🐶 (talk · contribs) 07:17, 7 October 2025 (UTC)
British English vs American English and other notes
Hi, I am working on cleaning up a lot of the grammar and formatting of the page. As a part of this, I am changing the spelling of a number of words on the page from British English to American English (organise to organize, colour to color, etc.). I feel like this makes the most sense for the page considering the game was developed, written, and filmed in America, but I wanted to open a thread about it in case of potential dissent.
I am also changing the wording of the two different versions of the game to the Playdate or Peedee version and the PC/Switch or Color version. Since the official game credits page label the two version of the game as Peedee and Color, it seems more accurate than calling the Playdate version the "original game."
