Not a single section on all the controversies this guy has been involved with?

I'm surprised that a random YouTube video can paint a clearer picture into who this guy really is versus what's supposed to be the Internet's Encyclopaedia. Whoever's editing this article is grossly biased.

We can't decide that a streamer's biography is encyclopedic in nature and at the same time deny the relevance of all the sources of information that truthfully narrate the facts of that person's life. Streamers' lives are either of encyclopedic interest or they aren't, and if they are, it's imperative to use sources of information that properly contextualize that entire world. You can't wait for the NYT or the mainstream media to write something about it to declare it has encyclopedic validity. Stop being dishonest for a minute of your lives. 161.10.79.187 (talk) 20:32, 14 June 2025 (UTC)

If you don't like the way the Wikipedia guys run the rules of their own website, you should probably find somewhere else to complain about it instead of wasting your time on this talk page. PepsiStripMine (talk) 20:44, 14 June 2025 (UTC)
"If you don't like child abuse, stop concerning yourself with the affairs of child abusers."
You can say it's not the same thing, but it is. It's just not as extreme. But you are demanding that instead of addressing a problem we simply... don't.
There is a problem, and you don't get to wave that away.
Because at the end of the day it IS the same thing because Destiny has just been accused of pedophilia, WITH EVIDENCE.
So you're asking us to stop informing people about potential, with evidence, child abuse. 2001:8003:3094:5C00:1070:D1F9:A165:243 (talk) 21:12, 28 September 2025 (UTC)

Political violence

He has been on three different platforms recently saying that conservitive need to fear getting murdered so that their leadership will be afraid to critise opponents. These statemants along with the others should be combined into a single topic addressing his views on the use of violence for political ends. 2603:8001:3600:1C53:78D0:D388:50BC:93C3 (talk) 00:23, 16 September 2025 (UTC)

I don't think he has said that, but if you have a reliable source then it can be added to the article. Paditor (talk) 11:24, 16 September 2025 (UTC)

While it’s not a noteworthy news source, and citing an Alex Jones tweet on anything is questionable at best, the actual video clip of him saying such on one of his Kick streams is embedded in the article. The exact quote is:
“You need conservatives to be afraid of getting killed when they go to events, so that they look to their leadership to turn down the temperature. The issue is, right now, they don’t feel like there’s any fear- […]” MilitaryMarineMammal (talk) 19:01, 16 September 2025 (UTC)

He has absolutely said that. Here's the video: https://x.com/Rightanglenews/status/1967633129587478627 . After it went viral, Piers Morgan had him on his show to give him a chance to apologize or at least retract it but he doubled down instead https://x.com/CollinRugg/status/1967719921577807973 and then later called everyone worried about his incitement to violence, and I quote " I am now at risk for actually developing brain-cancer after witnessing how fucking stupid most of these people are" https://x.com/TheOmniLiberal/status/1967999737711239244 Sniper Fox (talk) 22:58, 16 September 2025 (UTC)

Your link does not support your original claim. He didn't say that conservatives need to fear getting murdered so that their leadership will be afraid to criticize opponents. Please provide a source supporting the part in bold. Thank you. Fennecfoxxx (talk) 14:37, 10 October 2025 (UTC)

Can we just change the title to Steven Bonnell. Why do we have to know these people by their made up internet nicknames. We’re not children just title the page by his real name and put destiny in quotations. What are we doing here? 2600:1015:B23D:2986:2CEC:3C22:FFB0:393C (talk) 22:05, 16 September 2025 (UTC)

Not done: see WP:COMMONNAME, especially the recognizability criteria. Readers interested in the subject will likely be more familiar with his streamer name rather than his real name, as demonstrated by the sources provided. — 🪫Volatile 📲T | ⌨️C 23:26, 16 September 2025 (UTC)
