dubious sourcing
"Theophile was a girl who claimed that Hades loved her and that she was better than Persephone.[57][58]"
57 is a primary source in Greek.
58 is a blog translating that source (it specifically cites the page cited as 57.)
I feel like it should be a single citation, not 2. (presumably [58])

- I've added a better source (a published, scholarly one) to that sentence, and have removed the blog (as blogs generally aren't reliable). I've instead directed the reader to Wypustek's translation. The link to Packhum was fine, though. – Michael Aurel (talk) 01:54, 30 December 2025 (UTC)
- Could you improve my article about Hades in modern culture and not erase completely? English isn't my first language, but almost everything I mentioned is easily verifiable. Regarding the sources, there are many articles about John Milton and Claudian De Raptu Proserpinae online, but unfortunately I need a subscription to those sites to view the articles, and you might have one. - Hi Dinosauro47. For this sort of content, we need more than for it to simply be verifiable; see MOS:POPCULT:
Cultural aspects of the subject should be included only if they are supported by reliable secondary or tertiary sources that discuss the subject's cultural impact in some depth. The mere appearance of the subject in a film, song, video game, television show, or the like is insufficient
. A citation to the work itself, for example, is not sufficient in this context. Yes, I probably have access to those articles. I would be willing to share them with you, but we are fundamentally going to need a section to be grammatical and encyclopedic in tone before we add it to the article. – Michael Aurel (talk) 21:47, 21 February 2026 (UTC)

Realm of Hades: "Fields of Asphodel"
(Unable to edit due to semi-protected status)
There at the trivium sacred to Hecate, where three roads meet, souls are judged, returned to the Fields of Asphodel - Fields of Asphodel links to an unrelated novel that shares the title instead of the likely intended Asphodel Meadows linked elsewhere in the section. I'm unaware of style guide specifics but it may be better to remove the link entirely as it seems to be redundant due to said earlier linking. Recluesive (talk) 13:01, 10 January 2026 (UTC)
