I'll get through some relatively minor prose concerns first.

Infobox

• Genshin Impact prologue: "Songs of the Wind" (2018) is currently noted as the character's first appearance. This isn't sourced nor mentioned in the body of the article, where you state the character first appeared in the game's beta trailer in June 2019. Which one is it?
  • I don't have access to the "Songs of the Wind" manhua so I cannot verify the Traveler's appearance in them. The source I looked at that discusses it does not mention the Traveler (https://www.polygon.com/23364026/genshin-impact-manga-where-to-read-webtoon-tapas-sumeru-collei-amber/) so I have removed it from the infobox. Editors are free to re-add with a citation to the manhua.
• Is including every voice actor in each language really necessary? I've hardly seen any character article inlcude every voice actor for every language. Besides keeping English, I could also see the importance of keeping Chinese, as that's the game's original language afaik.
  • I believe so, as every other article on miHoYo characters has it like this. None of them have reached FA status but a good handful are GA's.

Lead

• ...across the world of Teyvat in search... --> I feel that framing Teyvat as a fantasy world, as you did in Genshin Impact, could be positive for clarity.

• {As an interstellar traveler from outside of Teyvat, the Traveler possesses the ability to manipulate elemental power without a Vision --> Is their ability to manipulate elemental power without a Vision a direct consequence from them being an interstellar traveler? If not, I'd drop the "As".
  • This hasn't been confirmed, so adjusted accordingly.
• that is normally required in order for most characters to control the elements --> Remove "in order".

• It may also be a good idea to explain what "elemental power" and "element" are within the Genshin Impact universe, or why they're relevant.
  • Not sure if this is needed in the lead; changed "power" to "magic" in an attempt to clarify what is meant here.

Development and background

• At the start of the game, players must choose between two twin siblings: either Aether (the older brother) or Lumine (the younger sister) may be chosen as the playable Traveler. --> One of the uses of the verb choose feels redundant, by stating that "players must choose" you're already indicating that both options may be "chosen". The second "may be chosen" should be removed.
  • Reworded
• Players can choose to name the Traveler themselves at the beginning of the game... --> Another close repetition of the verb "choose". Change it for "select".
  • Changed the first one instead, as I like the flow better.
• Their birthday is also set by the player. --> This sentence feels really short and could easily be incorporated into the sentence before it. Something like: "Players can select the Traveler's name and birthday at the beginning of the game,..."
  • Added it onto the end of the prior sentence with a ";"
• In version "Luna IV" released in January 2026... --> Is the name of the version relevant to the character and the reader? Something like, "In an update released in January 2026,..." would read better imo.
  • Sure, I suppose this would be more understandable to non fans.
• Same concerns with including every voice actor as in the infobox. I'm not telling you to remove them, but consider if they're really relevant for the English Wikipedia.
  • IMO they are, especially since the source cited names them all.
• He said that he did not think the Traveler's sibling to be a bad person... --> This reads a little clunky, try something like "He said that he did not think the Traveler's sibling was a bad person..."
  • Done
• ...regardless of whether or not they stand on the same side of things. --> "or not" is already conveyed in "whether". Consider trimming it.

• Also, the name of the section feels weird, as there's barely any "Development" information other than the very short second paragraph. Is there no information on how the game's artists and narrative designers built the character?

Appearances

• Aether and Lumine are two interstellar adventurers from beyond Teyvat --> I'd explain what Teyvat is shortly, something like "adventurers from beyond Teyvat, the setting of Genshin Impact}}

• The Traveler journeys with Paimon through the various nations of Teyvat while searching for their missing sibling, becoming involved in local conflicts wherever they go. --> You repeat their journey in search of their sibling twice, very close together in the text. Consider changing this second phrase to something like "In their search, the Traveler journeys with Paimon through..."
  • Done
• the oppressive Vision Hunt Decree --> Explain what the decree did for it to be classified as oppressive
  • Just going to get rid of it, as it's already included in "the policies of its ruler..."
• You mention the "Loom of Fate" various times, but don't explain what it consists of, is this not known?
  • Added brief explanation.
• Similarly, explain what a "Ley Line-weaving device" is, or consider a wikilink to Ley line if that's what it's meant to refer to.
  • I suppose you could make the argument that they refer to the same thing. Would not oppose if someone asks the link to be removed though...

Animated short film and song

• Shouldn't this section be incorporated into a "Other appearances" section in the main Appearances section? Similarly to how FA Ada Wong#Other appearances handles appearances in other media.

Reception

• Consider whether cosplay should be mentioned at all per Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Video games/Video game characters#When to mention and include cosplay
  • That section, on inspection, didn't seem like it was worded well, so I'm removing it per NPOV.
• I feel like you go into way too much depth than necessary for a couple of the refs, especially ref 34, which may cause WP:BALANCE concerns for some editors. Consider checking out how other FA character articles balance their reception sections.
  • Tried to tidy it up by cutting down some refs, including the one you mentioned.
• I'll do prose on the reception section tomorrow, as it's getting late where I live.

References section

Nothing major, just a slight consistency issue with how you call the mainland Chinese language in the 'language=' parameter. You use "zh" in two of them and "zh-hans" in the other two.

Sourcing concerns

Most of these concerns aren't an issue with GA, but I'll be very strict with this, as you want to take this to FAC and I feel many of the sources may get flagged. The reception section specifically relies heavily on WP:VALNET sources. The Gamer is generally reliable so that's fine, but I stress concerns with the heavy use of Game Rant and Screen Rant across the article. These includes refs 6, 9, 10, 17, 28, 30, and 31.

ONE Esports is unassessed at WP:VG/S, and I could only locate two attempts to start a discussion: , both with little to no participation. Apparently, zhwiki considers it situational, but I couldn't confirm this, as I can't speak Mandarin.

Other than that, I feel that both Siliconera and The Nerd Stash may get questioned as well. While considered reliable, Siliconera was questioned at the 2021 FAC for Rockstar San Diego, in which it was ultimately removed from the article. There was a discussion at WP:VG/S following the FAC . The Nerd Stash is also considered reliable, but in the latest discussion, various people were arguing for it to be considered situational instead of reliable.

I'll give the article a second look tomorrow, as it's getting late where I live, but other than reception, that should be close to all. As I noted on the Wikimedia discord, this is my first review, so take some of these comments with a pinch of salt. I did my best, hope this helps you! Good luck at FAC. @Gommeh: The article is looking better, at least prose-wise. Though I feel like I must maintain my stance with its sourcing, especially with the usage of Screen Rant and Game Rant. While those are accepted for reception at GA level, they will very likely get questioned for FA unless they're written by a reputable writer. Finding a suitable replacement for them would be ideal.

I did a background check on them (based on their Muck Rack profiles):

• Martin Patino has had articles published in reliable sources GamingBolt, ESPN, and GameRevolution.
• Nahida Nabiilah doesn't have any articles published in reliable sources. (Background section)
• Aditi Jeyanathan doesn't have any articles published in reliable sources. (Appearances section)
• Christine Mendoza has no publications outside of Game Rant.
• Hajrudin Krdzic doesn' have any articles published in reliable sources. He has written for Esports Insider, but all his articles there seem to be from after the source became deprecated.
• Michelle Ballestrasse doesn't have any articles published in reliable sources. (Background section)

Removed the Valnet sources and replaced them with WP:PRIMARY citations to the game itself (with the exception of Martin Patino as you described; I think that should be fine), since I couldn't find other sources for that information. I have removed them from the reception section entirely. I have commented out the infobox on the song for the time being, but am open to putting it back in if it is needed.
