From 'Early life and family'
Coffey had 10 siblings.[1][2] Her eldest sister Olga lived to be 77;[3] Albert, her eldest brother, was a travel agent who lived to be 68,[4] and her brother Ernest was a peace commissioner, who died at 88.[5] Her younger brother, Cecil, became Fr. Louis Coffey when he was ordained a Dominican father and notably established the famous 'moving crib' in Dublin in 1956. He was 77 when he passed away.[6][7] Her younger sister Pauline also became a doctor and, like Coffey, won prestigious awards in the Royal College of Surgeons.[8][9]
